i don't want to get in the middle of anything but it's definitely not an anomaly for stock e55's to run low 12's. the anomalies are the high 11's that have been run by a few stockers, with low 12's being quite the norm, and high 12's for newbies.

hey dragon, im stupid and have no clue what elevation does to cars and really don't care because i don't think that it can kill almost a second off of both the corvettes and is a renntech stage 5 close to a k4 because that would mean that a heavily modded e55 could only keep up with lightly modded vettes, sure he beat a c5 z06 but again to me he can't be that good of a driver and neither is the e55 driver because of how slow he left the line he needs to practice his launches more so he can hit 11's, i practice maunches in my extremely slow E350 and i beat a hemi 300 til 85, that means i launched the car like a demon and i still spun but in the end i lost because he has more power which is why he beat the c5 and not the c6 /rant

I ran consistently in the 12.3's@114-115 on stock street tires,track's physical elevation is 1250ft,not sure what the DA was that day though.The weather was muggy out,kind of cloudy.Just for your info.

That's great! but still not 11.80-12.00 like Sea level tracks, just like Ranger the Super C6 Z06 driver only guy to break into 10.85 @ 128+(not sure on trap) but point is once again dead Sea Level track, everywhere else the best they run is 11.10-11.70's

Not taking anything away from E55k, just overwhelming evidence shows everybody runs super times at sea level or closer to it tracks, unachievable at other higher DA tracks.

Hell a modded C32 ran a 12.30-12.40 at one of these aforementioned super tracks! everywhere else they run at best modded 12.80-12.90

Very true,but I was just commenting on your first quote is all.Some of these times reported are coming from Da's in the negative 800 ranges etc.Ranger himself said the weather was perfect for that run,did he not?I know the c6 zo6 can run,thats why Im getting one.

Im looking for a used 05+ white with black interior,if I cant find what I want then i'll be ordering a new one through a family member that gets GM pricing.

Well you have to look at 2006+ they didn't come out w/C6 Z06 till 2006, regular C6 like mine came out in 2005 also they unfortunately don't come in white exterior, there have been a few guys prof re-paint them but it's deff not an GM option, only regular base C6 comes in white exterior...

The 05 was a typo on my part,I meant 06.I did not know that the z06 did not come in white,I wasnt paying that close attention.Could be why I havent had much luck locating one.

Please try to keep in line with the original post which was an E55 video at a track.

We can all drum up old comments that contradict our current statements, myself included. I think we have to remember we are a community of enthusiasts and we welcome owners and non owners alike but we need to keep the personal attacks out of the posts and treat each other with respect.

Im in no way calling anybody a liar here but,these two STORIES are just that,stories.Nobody knows the trueness of what the Vette owners had except the owner.Also theres driving skill and conditions that go along with good and bad races.Just something to consider while you two are internet kung fu'ing each other.
