My set of piano black paddles shipped yesterday by air express so I'll get them any day now. I'll take pics as soon as I get them.

----------------------------------------------------
That isn't my car in the pic... It was the test car we used to create the paddles. I will be installing them in my car this week.

I haven't run off the production pieces yet. I am still doing testing on the prototypes to make sure they are perfect before running off a bunch of them. Also wanted to get input from you guys to see if I should change anything in the design.

no markings unless they are etched!!!!!! and i say etch AMG on both of them!! the +/- is already on the wheel. j/m .02 maybe a greyish paint would make them blend better?

Vic you are the MAN. I say Piano Black (or brushed flat black - that would be sweeet) with larger + and - signs and a nice fat ///AMG under each one. Screw cluttered, the more texture the merrier in my book.

Here are some more detail shots of the custom paddles.. I put them side by side with the MB Aluminum paddles that are offered on the new cars. Notice they are pretty much the same shape and size..

Seeing them side by side you can notice just how much bigger the mounting area on the steering wheel has to be to fit the MB ones into the older cars. This is why people had to hack away at the steering wheel to make them fit.. Not a nice solution.

Keep in mind my shots of the custom paddles are the pre-production units.. the production pieces are of even higher quality.

We are working on getting the mold modified so that it has the +- etchings.. The etchings will be done in a silver colour so as not to be too bright against the piano black.

Victor,

Those look AWESOME. However, I still like the etched +/- better than Up/Down

Me too.

I got bored looking at the up/down on mine so seeing +/- would be a good change.

I am going to accept deposits for the paddles at this time.

This is only for the PIANO BLACK. They will have the "+" and "-" ETCHED in a silver colour. Only send a deposit if this is what you want.

The balance will be charged when the product is ready to ship. Mold is being modified as we speak to have the Etchings.

Unfortunately I cannot make 4 or 5 different variations so I had to make a decision on what combination makes the most sense.

I don't want to accept any deposits for the aluminum ones at this time. I need to get the black ones produced and off the assembly line. At that point I'll get the factory to run 1 or 2 samples of the aluminum look (paint) and we'll see what it looks like.

Thanks to everyone for their feedback and continued support!!

Here is a crude deposits page I made to make it easier for me.

Victor, would you post the fitting instructions (with pics, if possible) to confirm ease of fitment? Thanks
