Why would you be looking for a "new" E55, these are the cars that will have the largest drop in price, as their resale value will be compared to the E55's not E63's? Probably you will get them cheaper, but the price drop will be more later...

Price wise you will be better off buying a used E55 for a huge discount compared to the new one. Still low miles and a warranty to enjoy. Or step out and lease an E63. Have fun with either.....:zoom:

No was thinking of getting an e55 for work and dropping my hummer but keeping the sl as well. I do miss the power of the 55 motor but i love the speed of the 65. when the 65 gets walked I couldnt imagine what would have happend to my 55. I love the v8 no doubt about that.

+1

You can probably find a red E55 (if not now, maybe a little later, as one will eventually make it on the market) for 50 to 60k. It will still have warranty, which should be easily extended to couple of more years. Plus, you may end up saving 20 to 30k ---> BIG SAVINGS

But then again, the idea of leasing a brand new "Barlo Red" E63 is very attractive... Decisions... Decisions???? :D
