Fyi E63 Fly's

Being An E55 Driver, I Haven't Been To Impressed With E63's That Much. The Power Is Smooth But It Doesn't Have That Shot Out Of A Cannon Feel. So A Buddy Of Mine Lent Me His 63 For A Couple Of Weeks, We Had Already Done A Sprint Booster And The Charcoal Filters, Throttle Response Was Good And It Picked Up A Few Ponies, But He Wanted More. So Off Went The Ecu To Adam At Euroelites, 2 Day Turnaround And Now The Car Is, Dare I Say, 55ish. The Power Is Smooth But It Seemed To Pick Up Alot More Bottom End, No Check Engine Light, And The Engine Really Comes Alive At Highway Speeds. I Would Like To Thank Adam For His Efforts And Rec. His Services To Anyone Thinking Of Modifying Their Cars. I Drove The Car Into Work This Morning And Avg Mpg Was 22.5. 34 Mile Trip With A Quite A Few Good Romps On The Pedal. I Thought I Would Share This With Fellow 63ers For A Pretty Good Bang For The Buck Upgrade Until All The S/c's And Nitrous Kits Come Out.litemup.

No Pre Or Post Test On Dyno, Couldn't Make The Time, Sorry About That. Hazy1, Is That A Good Or Bad Thing?

Did you physically remove the ECU and ship it to him or did you just bring the car there?

How much was the mod and what did he have to do to the ECU?

MBTEK Jul 13, 2007 11:38 AM

$1595 + Shipping, Contact Adam. Yes I Removed And Shipped The Ecu Overnight. Took About 10 Minutes Each Way.

Wow that seems cheap to remove an E55 motor + tranny and put it in an E63!!! :rolf:

Not A Good Or Bad Thing, Just Very Distracting To Read When Every Word Is Capitalized. As I Am Typing This, It Just Feels Like A PITA That Takes A Lot Of Extra Time. Just Making An Observation And Trying To Help, Not A Judgement On You Personally. Have A Good Day And Thanks For Sharing The Results.:y

P.S. I Can't Type Like This Anymore, Its Killing Me.
