My E63 w/ New Flat AMG Hood Emblem

I finally picked up a new flat AMG hood emblem on ebay. It looks so much cleaner than the upright star and for $30 couldn't pass up the deal.

It looks very nice. Can you tell me how it mounts? Does it use the current holder, or some other arrangement. That has been holding me up from trying a similar classic AMG ornament.

piece looks great but i think the flat badge in general is a little weird because there is 2 of them too close together
