I wan't Brembo's

So is the Brembo brake kit really any better than our stock ///AMG brakes? how could they be? it seems like i don't have enough tire on the road to satisfy the brakes that come stock?! all opinions appreciated!

Yes, aftermarket brakes such as the Brembo GT and other floating rotor BBKs are an improvement over the stock AMG brake system. The biggest improvement is the reduction of unsprung weight (approx 7-8 lbs per corner) in the suspension, which translates into improved handling response, acceleration and braking.

Yes, the factory calipers are sourced from Brembo and utilize 8 pistons in the front and 4 in the rear. Unfortunately, they use an extremely heavy 1-piece rotor/hat setup. The Evosport rotors are a cost effective way of reducing unsprung weight and still using the factory calipers.

Also the GT Brembos front discs are larger diam 380mm vs 360mm ... no fade on those puppies... a few hard stops on our brakes from high speed and it gets a little vague ... our brakes are no good for any proper track use...

But yes a lighter (and larger) disc is the biggest advantage...

211 E55(sold) & 80cc shifter kart
if money is a issue, just buy the evo disc and pagid int pads this was a night and day difference. I would give this mod a a+ for the money and i tested this set up at the track they worked A LOT better than stock.
