Looks like everything is calming down over at the F Body forum so all seems cool.
Can't wait for them to see an AMG run 10's.
If it wasn't for Christmas, it would be this weekend. Well if the track was prepped that is.

I dont get your point. Yes a civic is a civic captain obvious, thanks for pointing that out. And by the way, not everyone has a di*k, i like my women di*kless thanks. My point is that if your main goal is to go the fastest for the cheapest, mercedes is not the best choice. I'm not saying anything bad about benzes, I LOVE them! Hell, I have 2 of the same body style!

Atleast you called me captain! I have a few friends that always play the "it cost how much to do what to your car" followed by if you get a honda or a nissan and put 5k into it for a ball bearing turbo kit and blow off valve you can run 11's and 12's all day long. blah blah blah....

I drove 700 miles to participate in this with that flag , and it is far from "gay" , you calling it that just reflects poorly on you

But about people who hate our cars... I'm on the east coast, the track I run is 90% mustangs, camaros, and Vettes. I'll go alone, and most dudes won't approach me to talk about the car, but if I walk away from it, they go over and stare at it like it is Pam Anderson naked. And talk about it. And argue about if it is a twin turbo twelve or a supercharged 8. About 1 in 10 people will actually talk to me about the car. 1 in 20 will make some kind of obnoxious comment, never to my face (I'm 6'7"), but frequently as they are walking away. The most frequent comment I get from the more intelligent guys at the track is usually something like "Man, if I had this car, I'd never take it to the track... I love it, but I'd buy a camaro (or Vette) to race so I didn't break it!" That, by the way, is a valid point. But it's kinda fun watching the reaction after you kick the cr-p out of some dude in a stang or camaro. Now if it weren't for those pesky modded e55's... they are so freakin' fast!

I was not running around with it, I just held it, gave it a wave in the Sacramento wind. The AMG owner running around, so what he was excited, does this make him "gay"? No matter how you look at it being supportive of immature inane commentary is much more harmful than a guy running around the track with an AMG flag for a few seconds, he was not naked, and did not get in anyones face, just a proud AMG owner.
Zax63 you rock man, thanks for tracking your E63 AMG, but seriously please do not buy into this teenage machismo bull shiet, its a Falg from the AMG challenge and it goes to the fastest car at each event.

Oh, I did not know that it went to the fastest car, that is pretty cool. Also, I don't think the flag is inherently not cool. It depends what you do with it. Sounds like the mustang camaro guys were embellishing a little bit...

whats funny is I was just there(sac race way) last weekend and not 1 of them said **** to me! of coarse there cars are faster If I wanted a Fbody (I think thats what they call it) I could and I could also make it alot faster than 10.5s but seriously I think that car is ugly I dont care how fast it is or isnt.
