500 RWHP.....what does it take??

What mods would it take to achieve 500 rwhp on a 03'? Pulley and tune should get me into the 455-465 range, what else can I do without going into the engine? (ie: head/cam work) My stock dyno is currently at 428 rwhp.

Add throttle body, airbox, header, and maybe VRP extreme belt wrap...

All that mentioned and most importantly COOLING...get a massive Heat exchanger in front...with that and a nice tune you are guranteed above 500WHP. The cooling is the key. I have seen as much as 30HP drop without proper cooling.

does spend too much money on cooling.. $699 for the code3 is more than enough.. for now.

pulley,
FMIC
TB
headers
and tuning

not sure if you will get to 500RWHP.. but very close. It will all depend on the type of dyno and tuning of your car.

some cars are stronger from factory than others..

Jangy has one installed. I don't think the OEM belt will fit because it is an oversize pulley. If you purchase the pulley, the belt will come with it.

As TopGun mentioned, the variation in Beastliness coming from the AMG factory is common, so make sure you get a baseline dyno in stock form (if you haven't done that already).
