Yeah, a purring kitten with tiger-like claws. Great kill stories by the way!!
I can't wait to get some kill stories of my own. Dude, Willow Springs is in my backyard. We need to meet up there one day.
Hey, do you really notice a difference as you put miles on your beast that all your mods and tune come together?
...and are your temps still below 90 and with no sc shut offs?

I love Willow, so anytime.
As far as learning, yes. The shifts have become much smoother as the car is learning how I drive. Also, the car holds gears better now that it knows I am serious when I punch it. The tune is excellent.
My temp sits at 90 all the time. That may change when I go to willow, but the cooling on this car has always been better than my '05. Dunno why.

I do have the "newest" setup, but I really didn't think it would be enough (still don't). I also think mine is programmed to turn off (the pump) as often as it can to save the life. I plan to wire it to run all the time and I assume that will make it a shorter life.

You also have to remember that all the talk of pump replacement/ running constantly were linked to the old pumps and how they performed.
Do you have any actual data (not speculation) that the new pump needs to run always on?
You your self have stated that you never saw any change, so has chiro and a few other members who have them.
Mb would not change the pump for free (many times over till the last model they came out with) just so it can go bad again. No money advantage to it and would most likely generate a loss.
You would think they would have done their home work on it by now unless you can show otherwise

Zod: You bring up a good point. In all honesty, I just don't think I can mod it the way I like it and expect that any OEM setup would suffice. It is just an assumption, though.
I was initially going to get a larger HE and CM90 and call that the "fix". Since then, I just haven't had cooling issues so I waited. I still assume I'll need it during hot days and long runs, but I'll wait until then to replace and or upgrade.

The stories are so many. My new job has me going through Rancho Santa Fe, which is a very affluent area of San Diego with some open country roads. I run into AMGs, Astons, etc. on a daily basis. Oh yeah, I totally forgot. I went to the Symbolic Spring event yesterday and happened to exit the freeway with a white CLK-DTM 6.3. Gotta say, they are strong. I guess it is the weight. He dove right inside of me on the turn, but we were together on the straights. It was a blast.

I'm putting money on it, fellas. I'm looking for a solid 500 to the floor and think it will happen. The car has been so strong as it, but pulling some of the pressure and retuning should open up the top even more. I can't wait!! Damn, gotta go find a ride from Costa Mesa...

VR 550- ECU/Pulley
VR600- ECU/Pulley, Shorty headers, 80MM TB, filters...
please correct me if I'm wrong...

The filters could possibly be a part of the VR550 but as far as I know, the TB is part of the VR600 Package...
EDIT...
If you look at the first post in this thread, Vadim says that they are ready to continue with the upgrades on Jangy's car. He only had the VR550 package which is the ecu/pulley (and possibly filters??? ) so I'm assumin that since he posted pics of the TB and the shorty headers, that's the part of the VR600 package...

Don't forget that I also have the Airbox and cover
I forget the packages and only said that because I think that is what the car will do based on the prior data and the fun I've had since. Honestly, I won't wine even if it puts 475 down. I want to see the 1/4 mile and lap times at tracks.
I think we hit 550 with pulley and ECU, but don't remember.
