Remember, all other modified E55’s generally trap at 120-123mph (including mine). A 128mph trap speed is a huge jump........ so what happened?
I'll tell what happen. That sum***** is making some good old fashion horsepower!

Dave.. Sorry for the multiple posts but I keep finding new info after each post..
I did some searching and Renntech Stage 5 cars are only dynoing 480rwhp at the wheels. Look on Dragtimes.. you will find a few.
The VR675 wagon we did was 536rwhp SAE Corrected.. 551rwhp uncorrected.
That already puts our cars ahead by 56rwhp.
I believe KLeemann K4 is dynoing 500-505rwhp for those that dyno'd on a Dynojet.
So, comparing power output, I would say we are clearly ahead based on what I've seen out in the public.

ok, take off the AMG and just put VRP in its place so if you look at the trunk it will have E55 VRP or just have VRP and on the fenders take off the kompressor and put your VRP Power badge

LOL.. I like that answer... The fact is, his car really does make alot of power.. Everything we have seen and compared it against proves that it does.. I'd just like to have a finite answer with a 1/4mile slip from an NHRA track (AND) one that has accurate timing equipment.. lol..
Working on VRP badges right now.. Company is working on the artwork to make 3D chrome badges for the trunk and smaller badges with power level for the front fenders (ie. VR600, VR700, etc).

Hey Guys.. some more info as well to add to this.. Just in....
My buddy with the shop up in Montreal is Avo from ToyzAuto Art. They were rated one of the top 10 performance shops in North America and had a spread done in the DuPont Registry recently..
They are also the ones that own the shop that 360 Forged posts some of their pics from (Blue Bentley, White 997 turbo, etc, etc).
Toyz Auto built up a Renntech Stage 5 S55 last fall.. They took it to the same dyno and it made 485rwhp. They took it to Napierville Dragway and it ran 12.50 @ 116mph!!!!!! This was in the fall when the air was cooler.
Do you guys think that MPH could be understated by 3mph? A Renntech Stage 5 trapping only 113mph??

Actually Dave.. you bring up a good point which is what I was eluding to in my previous post to Fikse...
Fikse E55 is RT Stage 1: 11.66 @ 120.41mph.
My Friend's CL55 with RT Stage 1: 12.02 @ 116mph at Napierville.
If the timing equipment is 3mph off, that means his car trapped 113mph compared to Fikse's 120.4mph..
So, if both RT STage 1's make the same power, and Fikse is in a Humid climate, how could he be trapping 7mph more? Isnt that a 75-100hp difference in power like you are talking about?
See what I mean...

Those cars are weighted differently and Fiske attained some great 60 ft times and ran in decent weather. Could have been a real bad weather day for your buddy in the CL?
My car traps 110 in 90 degrees and 116 in 60 degrees, six MPH diff with absolutely no change to the car.
Weather is a killer or can aide a run significantly, this is why when attempting to demonstrate how modifications have aided the 1/4 mile times you also must note the weather.
The best thing to do if you want to run at this track is simply use a GTECH and see how closely it matches the timing lights. It could be something else that is off, maybe trap is accurate and the ET is wrong?
Picking up 5 mph is definately possible and I would have no trouble believing it had he hit the 1/8th in 7.2-7.4, but the ET suggests the car was accelerating similar to stock. Now we have 660 feet to attain 30-40 mph?
A=V1-V2/T we know the car was stopped, we know the 660 ft time we know the 1320 ft time,
Ok wow, After doing a bunch of calculations... IF HE WAS OFF THROTTLE AND THEN WENT WOT after the 330 mark he could attain this speed it is actually slightly slower than the fastest non NOS E55, I believe the result!
CONGRATS THIS CAR IS GOING TO HIT 10.90's

If the da was low enough it's very believable, I know my car would have run 11.00's or faster on a 50 deg day and picked up 3 mph easily. Yes it's speculation but the facts are that all the fastest times on dragtimes , with the exception of mine are happening in very cold weather.
Vrus just please take it to a track that displays 1/8 mile traps and put this to rest, so that you/friend can claim the number one e55 spot on boost. Our cars are capable of much more than 11.30's and 123+mph, just my 2 cents.

Well.. I can understand where you are going with this but, did Fikse run in 14C or lower weather?
Remember, my buddy ran in Montreal where the weather is much cooler and less humid than Florida yet Fikse trapped 120mph and if Napierville is overstating its trap speeds, it would mean a 113mph trap for him up here. That's the part that was confusing for me.
I really do think this is a 10.99 car @ 129mph or 130mph.. that's what I put in my head, and that's what I am chasing after. We are going to give it a shot and see if we can break into the 10s with this car.
I believe it... Your car was so close to doing it.. I actually thought you were going to shatter the record @ VIR right after the cams went in but the weather didnt cooperate..
I'm chasing it now... I now we can get to the 10s without the spray.
I talked to him today but I am not sure if we can make it to the track on Friday.. he is supposed to fly to Vancouver.. I am going to see if Avo can take it in his place while he is gone.

everything will never line up as we would like....
The CL55 is about 500 pounds heavier than my car.... that sucks up about 50HP right there, which is easily 4MPH in traps.
I ran 11.668 @ 120.41 when my car was stage I, I just recently ran 11.662 @ 119.8 after stage II. I added shorty headers and gained 22 more HP. Weather is why I didn't run much quicker, 56 degrees vs 74 degrees.
I'm making 473/538, and the E55 in question is making 60 more HP. So with that kind of power and weather, 127MPH traps seem inline, even though the slip is awkward.
It doesn't sound like he had any clean passes, so until he does, we'll wait and see....
no fun that I have wait 8 months to see 50 degree weather again to run my car in similar conditions, I might have moved on to a CL65 by then....

Fiske ran in excellent condition and his car is several hundred pounds lighter.
I need the date and time of the pass of the CL 55?
Fiske ran at slightly negative DA 56 degrees F which is ideal, not as good as 41 but as good as it gets in Fla.
EDIT: FISKE IS FOLLOWING ME , LOL, yeah baby its all temp he is now stage 2 and he ran slower , this is why I correct every slip I have to zero.
Fiske Your Stage 1 run corrected is 11.717 (sec) @ 119.874 (MPH)
your stage 2 run 11.582 (sec) @ 120.581 (MPH)

I spent some time looking over some other results from Napierville and did not see anything shockingly out of order.

Car Whore
I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but Napierville Dragway is notorious for inflated trap speeds. Some examples include a fully loaded Charger SRT-8 with only 3 bolt-ons trapping 116 MPH and a Grand Cherokee SRT-8 with only 4 bolt-ons trapping 113.79 there. Most of the guys who run there and at other tracks agree that reported trap speeds at Napierville are 3-4 MPH faster than they really are. I'm not sure what the reason is but in the past this particular track has also had problems with the 1/4 mile trap speed not showing up at all on some days.

Man this slip is really really perplexing, I have just spent 4 more hours and now I dunno?
Here is a breakdown of what I have done
Average speed over time, car under WOT
RFLOW JUICEE VRP 675
60ft 23.92 MPH 21.853 MPH 19.233 MPH
330ft 48.998 MPH 43.681 MPH
660ft 64.424 MPH 57.347 MPH 55.13 MPH
1000ft 75.489 MPH 67.121 MPH
1320ft 83.76 MPH 74.319 MPH 73.23 MPH
Had the VRP car violently accelerated at the 660 mark that 73.23MPH should be higher increasing the average. Something is not right maybe ET is wrong and the trap is correct. an 11.297 @128 would be easier to believe because it would indicate pedeling
I do feel the power is there and the car will likely hit some incredible numbers but this last visit , seems to leave my head spinning . I really would like to see at the very least an 1/8th mile trap. Maybe my car would also trap 128 LOL :-D, NIGHT

i want the et to be wrong also but it's not likely that it's a full second wrong when taking the 60' time into account. this thing is mind boggling and i think we're just going to have to wait for the car to run again.
btw victor, after this weekend i'm free if you need a driver.

Do we have ourselves a scientific phenomenon here??
I believe everything is in order and there is no overstatement on the traps. Everything we have checked looks to be in order...
Marc... I hope this point you raised has some real backing to it because so far no one in Montreal that we've spoken to has ever heard of this being the case at Napierville.
