An E55 has been added to the stable, its an '06 30K miles got it an unbelievable price, I don't know when itll be used because the '96 S500 ithe daily, the '04 SL55 is my fav cruiser, and the S550 is the going out car but at this price what the hell its a keeper

After a few days you will find that the E55 is more than comfortable enough to be a daily driver. Congratulations on the new addition to an already beautiful stable. Do you mind me asking what the price on the car was? Im just curious to compare it to how much I got my 06 E55 for.

a family friend passed away and left his wife with an sl500,e55,ford gt,shelby gt500, and an old ford bronco. I picked it up in the low 40's i know its worth close to $50K....thats the only reason i took it, i was in no way looking to add a car but this lady wanted to get rid of some cars and she knew i loved cars so the call came because her townhome had a 3car garage and the other 2 were in the driveway taking up space. I wanted the ford gt but she said it was sentimental to i didnt get it. Ill probably sell the e55 in a year and break even or take a small loss.

I'm very sorry to hear about the death. But I think your car is worth more than 50k. When I got mine in October with 21k miles we paid 55k and that was a good price. Yours shouldnt be too different.

36K miles, it needs 4 new tires and its missing the NAV cd...I think its worth maybe $50K but in the recession we're in with a new model coming things like this wouldn't sell easily. It wasn't really about money, this is the car that made me buy my SL55, the old man took me for a ride and hammered it in this car 2 years ago and i fell in love with AMG so its kind of sentimental to me to in a way, he wasn't a relative but still a friend and the car is honestly pretty cool, as for a daily I still like the S500 Im not worried about bumper to bumper traffic and if I haul stuff its ok if the seats get scratched. I honestly don't know when Im gonna use the E but I was thinking of getting a nice used Maybach 57 or phantom this summer in july or august so I have a nice trading chip to go with my S550 now.
