Sounds sick man! I bet you scare the hell out of people coming down the street. "What the hell was that honey? Was it an old muscle car?" "No It was a 4 door Benz. " What's your mod list to make that noise? I'm guessing headers. Do you have an aftermarket exhaust or just modified OEM?

VRP 80mm TB, VRP airbox/viper tubes, VRP cams, VRP extreme belt wrap, VRP I/C upgrade, PTE polished and ported heads (similar to VRP Heads stage II), VRP longtube headers/VRP less restrictive cats/VRP straight pipe, modified OEM mufflers, VRP VR700 ECU tune, Kleeman ELM and LSD, Renntech toe links, and PTE thermostat and phenolic spacers...

At that time, my only runs were back in January and my best run was 12.03. I only did three runs and that was my first time ever on a drag strip, so I'll give myself points for being a newbie. and not having the launch technique down.
I am pretty confident I'll be in the 11's...how low is dependent on my technique and ambient temps and humidity. I also bought some MT's drag radials and CCW Classic racing wheels (thanks Rflow) for the track so that should help, too.
I'm still breaking in the car and I'll be hitting a 1000mile mark this week. I'll be hitting the track probably soon...too bad the heat and humidity in Florida will only get worse. Ideally late fall around here would yield lower and more consisent 1/4 mile times...but so what...I'll give it a shot anyway.

Thanks for the kind words...I love the idle and normal driving it get's people curious (I live on a golf course and I drive by a tee box and heads turn)...I'm not a total **** and gun it around neighborhoods but on the road I can open up the throttle and it is just intoxicating...
I had my cousin and my buddy in the car and they were giggling like two school girls...
Nothing like having the sound to go with the power...I can't wait to hit the track!
