Need fast response to battery question
I have a 2003 E55 with 30,000 miles which is currently at dealer for inspection and oil change. My question is should I tell him to put in a new battery or do you think I can go another year (and winter) on original battery?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Don't ask dealer to put battery for you... you'll pay the labor fee.
Just wait till it dies.... then call roadside assistance and ask them to replace the battery (usually they jump start it first... and if it dies shortly after - e.g. 2 weeks or so, they'll replace it). If they replace the battery, you'll only pay for the parts (~$150) and no labor.
