Humidity issues
Ran a C5 Z06 and C6 Z06 and wasn't happy with the results. The C5 supposedly ran 10.7 @ 128 and when I started to pull him at 100+ he let off (he has shorter gearing than stock). Does humidity effect sc cars more than NA? I also ran my friends stage 3 S4 who I walked away from before and just barely pulled tonight

how did u do against the c6?
They were 3 way runs. The C6 Z06 is fast. He got me by about a car to 120ish from a 40 roll. I dont know what he had done to it but the claim was it was stock. Oh yea, and they both jumped the honk every time and my car bounces off of rev limiter in second gear every time
. Hoping the tune solves that. The C5 Z06 had head, cam, FAST intake, exhaust, drag radials, and shorter gearing (from what I saw/heard). It was faster than the C6 to ~110. I would start pulling on him at about that speed and he would immediately shut down. I told him to bring the car out again next week if you want to run him. According to him it runs 10.7 @ 128 Both of these guys were young kids... must be nice. Neither one of them knew much about cars, he didnt even know what kind of exhaust he had on it.
I want a rematch after the tune. I really feel the humidity made my car ALOT slower. I wasn't even breaking traction at 40mph! If you want to run some cars bring your car to H2O.

Why ?
By combining the effects of atmospheric pressure, temperature, and humidity, it is shown that the indicated power obtainable from an engine is proportional to its mass rate of consumption of oxygen. This has led the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics to adopt a standard basis for the correction of engine performance, in which the effect of humidity is included.
Since F/I helps force more O2 into the engine, humid air would effect the engine less than a car that was void a turbo or sc.
The SAE correction factors for HP production clearly show N/A engines are effected more by the displacement of oxygen from the air by water vapor.
This is one reason I corrected all my slips. Horsepower in both F/I and N/A is reduced when humidity is high, it is the same reduction up to 25000 feet. HP would be reduced more in a car that lacks F/I hence the reason F/I cars are subject to less of an sae correction factor.

1884ft.
For a track that can run in the negatives, pretty bad conditions Ahmad.
8pm wasn't much better
1736
9pm
1649ft
Near Vegas conditions
not really, average DA in Vegas is likely closer to 4500 ft. The track is 2100 ft ABSL
