Since you previously posted last week "he ran 11.0's @ 127.6mph"
Not trying to stir anything up just trying to get the facts
The car was at the track last week (10/10/08) at Great Lakes Dragway when Marko was doing the shakedown runs.
You see.... well... what happened was.... awww heck.. here is a copy of the slip from that night..
Marko was on the left... Notice anything??

Yeah.. You read it correctly... the slip says 10.138 @ 127.11mph!!!!!
But, Marko being the proper racer he is said it wasn't a clean pass. He thought that the smoke from his burnout may have interfered with the lights at the starting line.. Over the phone, he said that 10.13 was probably a 10.80... I was so excited about the news that I made the post.
We both wanted to see a clean pass and the 10.97 was the best one so far at US41.
I discounted the "10.80 pass" because officially on the ticket it said 10.13.
Unfortunately on the 10.97 pass from this weekend his car cut power quite a bit on 2nd gear so it wasnt a full out run.. Thats why we easily think this is a 10.70 car if he can put the power down and get a full throttle run through the 1/4.
Sorry for the confusion.. I should have left out the information from last week's pass but I was too excited to hold it back.

Marko- what wheels/tires are you running? I was hoping to see you spray it at MIR but I guess you wont be.
I would guess 640HP at the wheels right now.....
great runs, congrats.....
I would guess you'll be closer to 4,900.
EDIT:
I got (2) sources
Cars direct....
CL65 Curb Weight 4,890 lbs.
4,890 lbs.
Carshowroom.com/autotrader
Dimensions:
Weights: gross vehicle weight rating (kg): 2,635, gross vehicle weight rating (lbs): 5,809, curb weight (kg): 2,240 and curb weight (lbs): 4,938
damn those are fat-bastad's--------------------------------------------------------------------------
2008 Mercedes-Benz SL SL65 Exterior Features and Specifications
GeneralBase SL65 Curb Weight (lbs) 4555
If you had these mods above on lighter SL65 she'll deff be a 10.5x @ 130+mph!!
Ricker:
I think you may have pulled the curb weight for a 2008 CL65. I believe the published curb weight for a 2005-2006 is 4,654lbs.

I probably know what mod you are doing.
I think it's time for some map clamps on that bad boy.
You better keep mine and Jason's secret or I'll have my good friend find you and make you "humble" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K-wEUCCvE0

If the CCWs fit you should cut 1.5x 60's so I see you 10.7x quite easily
Doh!

No but seriously, I dont know. I dont want to speculate and fall short of what I predict. It depends on alot of things... will stuff hold together down the track (especially with the hard launches I'm planning), can I get the 2-3 shift issue resolved in time, am I gonna spray the car? If the car hooks and doesnt break and shifts properly I think the car will be able to keep up with a few of the tuned V12TT's in the 1/4. But if I was to make a prediction I would go with a conservative 11.5 @ 118
