The company went under as the owners had a conflict of agreement, (everyone was stealing from each-other)
I got the first one, and after they started having problems, they wanted more money from me, so I left and never went back!
The intake can be made from some aluminum tubing and a good welder, If anyone is interested, I can recommend a good shop, PM me...

You and me both. It does look relatively easy to aluminum welded up and Aleksandar mentioned that he knows a shop who could fab the setup. I believe that the factory filters are the major reason the supercharger is muffled. I think that putting some aluminum tubing with silicon connectors on our factory airbox would allow you to free up airflow and get a better intake sound. My only concern would be if it threw a CEL due to very low intake restriction. K&Ns have been known to do this. Similar to the ICE intake, the filters would need to be close to the openings in the radiator support and some fabricated heat shields would really help out in keeping IATs reasonable. Realistically, a setup like this could be made for $250-300. With polished aluminum, it would dress things up as well.

..... and it will not throw any CEL's

Do you still have this intake on your ride? It is the best sounding intake for the W211 IMO. No takers on your ride yet?

I know this is a late reply but I just bought an E55 recently and I was interested in putting intake on it. I read all of the posts about the pros & cons of this "ice-man" intake. Does anyone else find it odd that the company already went under in less than a year? I wouldn't want to buy a product from a company that isn't going to last. I also looked at the Dyno and I know that can be misleading as well. I know that the ECU is adaptive so that could mean maybe the horsepower would change a little bit on the DYNO just from that. Plus it seemed very expensive and in the end I saw people posting about welding one of their own... It's like why didnt you guys think of doing that in the first place to see if this thing actually works??
I was all excited about it but I am also cautious to do any mods on a car like this b/c all of the sensors are very sensitive and the car was made to be the way it is. Plus im just a poor mid 20's kid from West Seattle WA who is lucky to even have this car. Hopefully someone will come out with a proven product.

Guys that dyno is a joke.the car prolly lost power with this setup.look how rich the thing is top end...it looks like he's running a 195mm pulley and a dead s/c pump.he's so rich it goes off the dyno sheet

I don't think you can find this one anymore but I have a VRP carbon airbox with carbon tubes I'm looking to move soon if you're interested.
