Long Tube Headers.....what to look for?

After lots of thought and research, I'm going ahead with having a pipe shop fab me a set of long tube headers. A fellow member is recommending a shop in the area and so I want to go speak to the owner and see if that is the way to go. If not, I will find someone who can do it so this is a go no matter.
The help I need is the specifications that I should get. My goal is to keep the price at around $2k installed, but i expect top notch work and materials. I just do not see a reason to pay closer to $10K or even $5k for an exhaust.
Please post up thoughts, like materials, diameters, coatings, etc. Also, what can I do to help others? Will pictures help? Or measurements, etc. I will be paying the shop for the job, so it is not a product development, per say...

Last thing, Mickey is the biggest supporter of Benzgal on this site and one of only a few members that even believe in the car. Saying he isn't coming to avoid her is ignorant in itself. I'm curious to see what RennTech was able to do to that 2005 (
) as well. One thing that will be nice to see is all the E55k cars. Jim has never seen so many fast AMGs and will be in for one crappy day, since he takes a good woopin so poorly. At best, he may beat Juicee.....

Jangy, I put our past behind us, but comments like these show that you just like to rock the boat. Jangy, I love ya and you've helped me countless times but I think you need to show up at one of these events to walk the walk. It would do much more for your credibility and arguments than just typing away.
Love or hate Jrcart, Andy and the rest of their crew, I give them credit for showing up at events to "show-ya what they got." Win or lose.... they keep coming back and you have to admire that.
Ya, I agree that they can come across as subtle as a sledgehammer on these pages but this is a big place and there is room for everyone (almost).

If you want to stay with the charger setup I think it would be cool to see a 55k running crazy boost tuned on meth/race gas. You have the resources, DO IT!!!!!I say we call a timeout until we see timeslips. Everyone on this board can argue for days and days. That doesn't make your car go any faster (I am not talking to any one person, just generally speaking).

I dont know too much about computers and less about the encryption of ECU's....but I was under the impression that actually cracking 128bit encryption is impossible without 20 supercomputers working night and day.
Are you guys actually "cracking" 128bit codes or wiping the whole Ecu and re-flashing the whole thing?? Either way--kudos

I told you guys that I never quit modding any of my cars, if something better comes available it goes on my car...I might lose a little steam on the CLK once the SL 65 BS shows up, then that one will take priority. I have a 95 E36 M3 that I still buy things for here and there, there is usually always room for improvment, always new technology coming out, even for older cars. If you get content you get beat!

Call Maximum PSI and talk to Donovan. Tell him Ahmad sent you. He will make your 95 M3 go 9's and trap 150+.

Theres a few fast BMWs that come but Donovan is the crazy fast one with the black E30. Its not the M3 version. Ulysses has the 4 door E36 328, and Mike R. has the silver E36 M3 coupe. They all run 9's!!!
