Can't Decide: HRE C93 or C97

2 Attachment(s)
Looking at buying HRE's C93 or C97. Which one do you prefer?

They will be 19x9 et 35 and 19x10 et 35. Can I go bigger than 245/35 and 275/30 respectively? Maybe 255/35 and 285/30? Any rubbing issues?

Thanks in advance!

The C97 out of the two you posted. I like the C20 and C90 much better though.

I run 19x10 285/30/19 rears and 245/35/19 19x8x5 fronts and I am slammed and no rubbing at all and you will be fine too. click my name to see pics.

Yeah, I saw your high gloss powder-coated Kenisis! They look pretty hot. I think I read somewhere that your rears (19x10) et is 35?

I can see see why you like the C20 and the C90. :) I like them too. But as it is, I am having trouble with the two that I'm looking at. :smash:

So you're running 35 offsets in the rear?

Vader55 Feb 28, 2009 01:28 AM

I am not sure as I bought them used but they were made for an E55, HRE knows what offset you need. Call Ed or John at HMS for a real deal on them. http://www.mymbonline.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=100

C97 is more clean since its similar to the AMG design, which fits with the car extremely well.

the 19 in the comp series looks really small due to the step lip-- perfect for performance but not looks, the face of the wheels is actually 17 or 18 inches, i think the lip is 2 inches alone in height

I would go for the c97 in a 20

Thank for responding to the poll. 20's will look chit hot. But will not work here where I live. In fact, I seriously considered going with 18's. I'm more interested in the performance aspect than the bling.

C97, but I might be a bit prejudiced as they look almost exactly like my DPEs. :)

Out of the two choices, the C97's all the way.
