They didn't have competitive pricing compared to the dealer for the front rotors and I didn't want to use their brand of brake pads (Pagid I believe). I don't think they are any lighter than OEM so I couldn't justify buying from them. They did make me a decent offer for all four rotors and pads. They are a company that buys rotors and does their own machining for the slotting and drilling/chamfering.

Okay, let me re-phrase that. Yes they are NOT a good pad for road racing, that is a fact. BUT Yes they are okay for a dialy driver, or even a spirited driver. Just EBC Redstuff is THAT much better IMHO and others from the track agree. I did not mean to imply that Pagid are worthless, I am simply stating that there are BETTER pads out there for the same amount of money. Buy what you like, and enjoy my friend as there are MANY options that DO work. For ME, I know and trust EBC at the track, at the drags, and for my DD comute.

Have fun

See yeah

Yes I do swap out pads for a track day or weekend. Infact its even more important to use the correct pads on a 4000+LBS beast that has a brake system optimized for the street.

Then YES, you are doing the BEST available option my friend, and I am glad to hear it

VERY few people would go to the hassle of doing this, including myself.

May I ask what pad are you using for the track

See yeah
