I'm running the stock P30 wheels on PS2s. I don't have pictures yet, but here is a stock picture. Mine looks just like it, but I painted the inside of the spokes black to get more of a dual tone look.

I wish I had OEM wheels. The dealer said they were ugly and that I wouldn't want them. :bs::smash:

BenzBoi - You are one of the only people I've seen run a 19 x 9" front wheel. Have you had any challenges with 9" wide wheel rubbing? If not, do you know the successful front wheel offset?

Fr33kn63 03-22-2009 09:21 AM

I am running 19x9 up front and 19x9.5 in back on Modular's Carbon Concepts
front chrome lip is 2" wide and rears are 4" wide

I have had absolutely no problems running a 9 inch wide wheel in the front. I run a 245/35/19 tire and have no problems. I'm not sure as the offset as I have a friend who ordered the wheels to his specs. Check you pm's...:y

I feel you on chrome rims...they actually were highly polished wheels. I used to have Carlsson wheels on my CLK430 and they were PITA, especially since the salt air in my neck of the woods does wonders to chrome. They started to peel and I had to send 2 of them back and the turn around time was ridiculously long.

Yikes! I've never had to deal with salt, thank goodness.

I love these Carlsson wheels, but I know I'd hate cleaning those spokes:

That is a great looking wheel! It also has a great price...I think Ebay has them for close to $8600 a set with retail close to $10000. For that price, I'd be cleaning them every day and twice on Sunday.

Do you have a pic of your car with the Carlssons on it?

Lady_AMG...the Carlsson chrome wheels on my old 2001 CLK430 (long gone now) were the 1/5's and not the UL you posted a pic on. I am just a great admirer of the 1/16 UL wheel for it's looks and weight savings.

I know a member that will have it soon on their AMG. He'll post when he get's them on...:p:
