'04 E55 - 51k miles - $25,500 - 100k warranty (VERY appealing to me).

I'm not certain of all the options so far. I know it has a two tone interior (gray/black), Satellite radio, and NAV. I can tell it doesn't have the Pano-Roof, but does have the dark Birds-Eye trim. Have not yet spoken to the owner, but the car is local to me so I do plan on seeing it in person shortly.

Just wanted to know what your impressions of the price are. Could I get it cheaper? Everywhere I look the prices seem to be scattered - some are just downright insane.

The price seems in-line with the market, and the warranty is a huge plus.

What date does the coverage expire?

Does it have xenons? You definitely want to get a car with xenons. Once you have them you won't ever want to go back to halogens...

Price seems right, warranty is a must -- as long as there are no other issues, I say it seems fair.

Call the Benz dealer with the vin# to check the in-service date. Find out from the owner how many years the 100k warranty is. This is because it could've been extended only an extra year after the 4yr/50k warranty and up to 100k miles or quite possibly 3 years and up to 100k miles. You just don't want to get stuck in a situation where you have 49,000 miles before the warranty expires but only 6 months of actual warranty time. Did that make any sense? Hopefully so. It's been a crazy day at work-I'm mentally fatigued. Uggggghhhh! Sorry for any confusion due to my tiredness.

Do a google search on "russian vin decoder" and you can check the options that the car has. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but some of the basic information should be correct.

It's worth a look. I wouldn't say it's a steal -- but its quite inline with whats going on in the market. The 100k warranty is an added bonus *IF* this is the car you want. Also, the warranty is good for up to 100k, but what does it cover? And how many more "years" do you have on the warranty?

if thats the same 1 on autotrader, that car has been thrashed. A buddy went to look @ it, and he might of fixed the issues, but it was throwing codes like crazy.
