The owner of the one in the vid Brent Hajek bought the first 10 off the assembly line. Some rich oil man. Hajek Motorsports. Even had the original drivers from the 60's come out to pomona for the debut. Have some vid's when they were testing at speedworld. They sound incredible. Mikey will agree Tectite's 500 sounds just as mean.

If you can find it in your hearts to forgive me I would be very appreciattive, Since the airing I felt like a dueche, Since meeting and running you guys I felt like a duesche.

As I mentioned earlier, great work to get a 10.8 second pass out of a 4,000 lb car!

In my book fast is fast. Only a handful can drive like you as well. So props to you there. It's ok to open up the checkbook whether it's AMG or SRT, retail to retail plus all mods still only half price to touch 10's. For 70k the nhra race ready cobra jet is alot of car. Instant 10's right off the showroom floor. Here's the vid Cobra Jet Stock

I'm pretty sure it is the same guy that was at Famoso, I remember reading in one of the pre-Famoso threads that he and his car were on HIN. I'm sure he changed his attitude after Famoso, there were quite a few AMG's running quicker than him that day, I think he was running 11.7's, but the car was gutted, only a drivers seat, no back seats.. He seemed like a nice guy, I thought the car looked good, black with orange roll bar and accents. Like I said he was somewhat quick, but light years away from contending with the top AMG's.
yeah I saw that douche on speed on HOT IMPORT nights too,,
at first I thought, he was high, looked like a methhead,, lol
but I recently in LA area have seen at least 3 SUPERCHARGED
SRT8's as PAXTON, and VORTECH and others are making parts for them now, just sat in a 600 hp orange one at a race tuner the other day,,
so there are some beastie challangers out there, and they can share some parts with MORPAR Racing and DODGE VIPERS too.. like the one I was checking out,,so trouble is you never know whats under the hood,,
the Modded Supercharged SRT8's with the VIPER trannie parts
are very very fast.. indeed..
not sure if that skinny douchebag on hot import nights had one though
I do know one thing, though,, the hotties in LA area, including AJ on HIN, would rather go out with and bang a guy with a merc than a challanger..is that is any help
its not only going fast baby its looking good doing it,, !!

I havnt tested the new convertor yet, Or the new pully which gave me another 3 lbs of boost, or tested snce the car went on a diet and lost another 350 lbs, Or since I put the 15" rear wheels on and true Slicks. Im shooting for low 10's at Sac. Ill now be able to launch in Boost with the convertor and the Slick is gonna get the power to the ground.
So If I get my 60' down into the 1.5x's Ill 1/8th prolly somewhere in the 6.7/s or 6.8's
and run low 10's, Also installed a Driveshaft loop.
And yes Irwindale is a 1/8th. And no its not a 40k car its a 90k car now. Beauty is I only personally got 60k in it. The rest was sponsored goodies and alot of help from my buddy Cam as far as wrenching on this obsession.

I went to Sacramento last weekend. The only late model street car that was running quicker times than me was a supercharged SRT8 300C. He said when he runs nitrous he has over 660whp. He was trapping around 126mph! I was still pretty impressed that my car trapped 120.9mph with just tune/gas/tires/3500lbs. Stock exhaust, cats, turbos, airbox, intercooler, etc. I will say the 300C was so loud I couldn't even hear the engine on my quiet little 335i. He probably didn't get 27mpg on the way to the track either, LOL. I guess its what one would expect from a 6.1L with FI vs a 3.0L FI. Still my 11.783 wasn't bad for no warm up burnout whatsoever and no limited slip. I think with warm tires and a 1.65 60' time, I could possibly be in the 11.5x ET range.

Very nice,
wow man you have really taken the car to a high level. You wanna come up to SAC May 1st and run ? Chris? We should do it , the evening runs should provide decent DA

These cars are getting faster and faster. A guy in the 135i just ran in the 11's at almost 120mph, Nearly stock, Tune/Fuel/mid pipes. On factory runflats and starting in 2nd gear!!

Exactly well said,, I've seen PINTO's and VEGA's with 1000 hp run
8 sec qtrs's too,, they are fast, but they are still PINTOS's and VEGA's
only someone spent $50,000 on them..
have a fast car, that looks good, and is not a deathtrap,, that you can drive daily is why the MB is the perfect medium..

I have one simple question that we all seem to be overlooking...Why the F*** was a Dodge featured on HIN anyway??? I thought HIN stood for Hot IMPORT Nights. Dodge is still a domestic company, right?
