Sneak Peek- New Wheels Ordered- COR F1 Mesh MONO
So i have gone ahead and ordered my new wheels. I decided to go with something different from the standard HRE's this time. I decided on a new set COR Forged 1 piece F1 Mesh Mono.
After several months of consideration, I ended up picking COR for my new wheels. I liked the fact that they acutally make their own wheels and have control of quality and timelines. I wasn't too crazy about their older designs but the new F1 Mesh grabbed my attention.
Their mesh is alittle different from HRE's m40. I liked the extra spokes on the COR wheel. Looks more classic and more like mesh.
No actual pics of the wheel yet since I will be first person to have them
I attached a pic of the intial rendering of the design.
So the wait begins!!! Let me know what you think

They look like they have great potential. I think the C and E class look really good with a mesh wheel. However, what i love most is a mesh wheel that is concave like the wheel Neez makes for BMWs (QD-7s).

wheels
The picture is just a rendering of a front wheel so there is not much concave to the face. The rear is suppose to have a larger angle
The turntime is 3-5 weeks. Hopefully closer to the 3 week side.
I am runnign 20x9 20x10.5 with a two tone finish.
more pics to come when i get some
thanks

almost done
well I got to say that Tony at Cor has been great guy to work with. Lead times are well faster than other 3 piece wheel companies. In addition he keeps you updated and sends your progress pics. I know many others have dealt with Tony and Cor and have had great experiences. I have to be added to the list.
Here is the latest pic he sent over to me. Wheels are pretty much done and I couldn't be happier with the result.
The finish is two tone with matte black windows and inners and color match flint gray face
Here is a pic, i will post more pics when i get them on the car

Ya, they kinda of look like HRE m40 but there is actually an extra spoke. Its kind of hard not making a mesh design that doesn't look like other meshes without losing the true mesh look.
Plus there is alot of guys with M40's on their cars. Not like I dont like them, they are sick but just wanted something different. Also I wanted new wheels before Summer and I didn't want to wait for HRE turnaround times for a wheel with a custom finish
Hopefully wheels get here early next week
