How do you like your E55?
So i decided my next car is going to be an E55 AMG. My question is how does everyone like there E55? Pros and Cons please. How's the MPG? Any mechanical issues i should know about? Would you have rather bought something else for the same price range?

Biggest pile of crap that I have ever owned...The brakes and rear tires wear out all the time, I can't get this dumb looking grin off my face when I drive it so I look like a complete tool, and it attracts too much attention. I would suggest buying a Buick instead as it is far more practical and will get you further with the ladies.

+1...and the best bang for the buck for sure...Wish I had waited as the depreciation is brutal...but have thoroughly enjoyed the car.
Gas mileage is dependent on how much fun you want to have...it can go from single digits to 24 MPG cruising on the interstate.

I still love getting into my E55. It is for me the best balance of speed, civility, and functionality. I would get another one in a heartbeat...

I've had mine less than a month but I love it so far. I don't like that I have to clean the wheels every other day (lots of dust) but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Every time I look at it I think "That car is a bad motherf*&%er."

2006 E55 AMG
I love mine and it really is a torque moster. Upgrades I did right off the bat were heat exchanger, intercooler pump and thermostat. Bone stock the car is incredibly fast and just never stops pulling. Has unlimited potential for big power in headers, pulley and tune, throttle body and LET torque converter. With those mods you would be running 10's and still be able to go and pick the kids up from soccer practice.
