LED Plate lights that work!!
Finally received my LED plate lights after months of BO. They work perectly, no errors, no added resistors. Everything is built in, includng heat sinks.. Heres the link to the exclusive dist.http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-335...Lighting/ZIZA/ Kinda pricey, but worth it to me.. I ordered the ones for a BMW E92 335i as they are the same size as ours.. Ill try to get som epics, but the color is perfect, and the brightness is just right.

mine are getting delivered today too !

You can also get them at http://v-leds.com/. They have variety of LED's..As matter of fact I got em for my GS and the price is decent...I've paid for D2S 66k HID for $49 and side marker for under $20.

I ve tried every other companys, they all nedded resistors to work on a W211.. These are the first bulbs that actually just plug in, and work.. :y
|
nice find. do they have bulbs that will fit our front markers?
|
They do make a 194 wedge bulb, but i can only find it in the VW section, and they come with lenses for the VW. Ive been trying to find info on this ZIZA brand, but all it leads back to is ECS Tuning..

Walter Question for OP: - How long have you had them on your car? - Did you ever get a light error code? - Does it flicker once in a while? - Did it melt your plastic light housing? (well, it shouldn't but, I'll ask anyway) |

E-Class OEM bulb is 6418, so if this is what your car uses, these bulbs will work. Ive had the bulbs for a couple days, and have driven day and night with them on just to see if any issues. None so far, no flickering, no errors, and no signs of melting. I dont think LEDs run that hot. I know others with BMW, and AUDI's who have been running these bulbs for quite awhile with no issues.

I just want to buy the hyperwhite license plate bulbs, which bulb number is the correct one?

If the E55 use the same bulbs 6418 as my CLK then you guys should get festoon 36mm (39 is too long I think) and here is mine at night (w/resistors).

LED Festoons with resistors only last so long, some have report about a year, mine only lasted a few months before strobing, or completetly burning out. So i guess will have to see how long these will last. I was replcing led bulbs every 3 months when i had them with resistors
