Great looking piece. 2twist the bottom knob 3 pull up the shift knob switch the boot reverse steps 3 2 1 |
I think this one can fit SL65 as well
|
These look fantastic and all but maybe I'm misunderstanding the purpose? What is anyone supposed to do with just a carbon fiber shift knob, we either have some type of wood interior or maybe a simulated aluminum and a handful of people have factory carbon. Do you offer carbon fiber interior trim through your business? Otherwise, wouldn't a CF shifter look a little out-of-place in an all wood or aluminum interior?

+1 :nix:
I am assuming this is mainly for people who converted to CF interior. I would have gotten them from DCT, but at the time I switched from OEM wood to CF I had already gotten it from another vendor. |

that and coupled with the fact that if you've had your own CF done, (probably more of these people than AMG presidents edition OEM CF interiors) as I and others have had, the chances that the weave size and flow of the grain will not match the rest of your interior are high. That is why despite wanting to purchase a ready made CF steering wheel to compliment my interior, I decided to buy a non-CF steering wheel and send it back to the maker of my interior to match the weave and make sure everything flowed properly.
