2004 S55 (SOLD, miss it every day), 2009 GL550
i would be interested in such a track day in the NoVa area. My stock S55 is not a road racer, and not a drag racer, but I'm sure it would be right at home doing 60-130.

Well, for those in my area. I do have a PBOX. PM me if you really want to do this. I can help you watch for "track conditions".
You can download the software here http://www.vboxusa.com/performancedr...ormancebox.php
Install it and you can look at my attached file. 3 Laps of Laguna Seca driven by Arndt Meyer (Chief Black series engineer) in a CLK63BS with our own MJ50 in the passenger seat. Too bad I did not have a drift box, the drift angle was large in a number if turns. Because the forum does not allow a "dbn" extension on the file, I used "pdf". Change it to "dbn" after download.

Our track north of Houston offers 60-130 MPH racing on key nights. All the data tools are supplied and a safe way to race. I posted last year but it seemed no Benzes had times then.
Great thread and great way to keep friendly times going.. Long tubes will be a must have!!
PS, so I guess my I phone with G force meter will not count..J/K

I guess a sub 10s time is repectable....
I really wonder where my wagon will fit in...
Also how is the run determined... Can you take off at 40 for example? O r any speed up to 60?
3.53 for two shifts ... 60-130 .. dayam
so effectively 0-70 in 3.53 ... from speed ...
(lost for words)
wow
Edit: Where is the McLaren F1 and the Veyron in all this?

For the sake of comparison, here are some 60-130 times for very fast street and production vehicles:
NOTE: Only the below runs with an asterisk (*) next to them have been verified by 6speed representive. The accuracy of the other runs can not be guaranteed.
*3.93 - 931 rwhp Supra, 88mm turbo, TH400 Auto, ET Drags
4.8 - 900 rwhp Supra (88GT47, TH400, no NOS, drag radials)
4.9 - 940 rwhp Supra (35 psi)
5.1 - 840 rwhp Supra (30 psi)
*5.26 - 997 GT3 RS TURBO / 1 shift
5.4 - 1,000 rwhp TT Viper
5.6 - Bugatti Veyron
*5.8 - Ford GT, Whipple S/C, 780 rwhp, 1 shift
5.9 - GSXR 1000 with bolt-ons
6.1 - Saleen S7 Twin Turbo
6.6 - Ford Cobra, Whipple S/C at 22 psi
6.9 - Mosler MT900S
7.0 - Ferrari Enzo
*7.24 - Mercedes SLR McLaren
*7.25 - Stock 997 GT2 / 1 shift
7.3 - Porsche Carrera GT
7.3 - Ferrari Enzo
*7.66 - 996 TT 'S' with K16/24 Hybrids, 4th gear pull only
*7.75 - Shelby GT500, Kenne Bell, 700+ rwhp, 1-shift
*7.8 - Lamborghini LP640, stock, 2 shifts
*7.8 - Chevrolet Corvette C6 Z06, stock, 2 shifts
7.8 - Chevrolet Corvette ZR1
7.9 - RX7, turbocharged (GT35), 360+ rwhp -
9.1 - Porsche 993 RUF Turbo R (100 octane)
9.4 - Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0
9.5 - Porsche 997TT

*10.93 - E63 AMG
10.9 - Nissan GT-R
11.0 - Shelby GT500, stock, 2-shifts

What this means is that the UR TT Gallardo is 2 seconds ahead of the Veyron from 60-130mph. That's INSANE!

I'm interested to see if UG will do better with the LP560...
Just for comparison, this is a GT-R with a COBB AP(700 bucks).
0-60 was 3.08
0-100 was 6.98
1/4 mile was 11.18@126.7
60-130 was 8.72 seconds

UGR's Regular Gallardo, a Black Nera that did 9.11 at the 1/4 mile hit 3.53 Verified 60-130mph, same one on the 6 Speed Online List. This was UGR's post on the their LP560 car(posted above)with dyno video:
"Here is a Dyno Video and some pictures of our first Twin Turbo Lamborghini LP560. This Lamborghini LP560 has the STOCK engine still in place. At 5 PSI we are a bit over 700 WHP "No Ice" 10 PSI made over 1000 WHP and 15 PSI we made 1100 WHP!! This dyno video does the sound of this Twin Turbo Lamborghini LP560 no justice as it is a Killer set up with the quad tips, X pipe and Burns Mufflers!"

The installation work is just amazing... Congrats to UR
But getting that kind of power from so little boost means they are running pretty high CR's or ?
And it seems now RWD - fronts were not rolling at all....

I'd like to have a set standard to follow as well. I'm about to borrow a guys box to record mine. They all have Porsches and say they roll from 25mph when they record there's but that's them, what would be official? Bueller? Bueller?

SW, whos quite popular got his in AWD, 1250rwhp on the stock transmission, his friend made 1500rwhp but the thing is that it will eat the transmission out as UG found out its limits is at 1300rwhp or so. Both cars are RWD just for dyno tuning but they are AWD for the street/strip. UGRs 9.11 was on Toyo R888 street tires. SW is the best bet to get a lower number than that and to crack the 3.53 60-130mph.
