Well I only have 13 chairs here at the shop. So hope you bring some chairs.

Sounds like I'm going to have to hire some one to direct traffic around here.

It was packed! Lot's of E55's and CL600, CL55 my SL600 and my friends S65 and a few C32's. It was a LOOOOONNGGG day.

Jerry and Tony are great guys and worked their ***'s off along with his techs and Kurt who owes Decker Guerra Motorsports where the tuning was done.

My friends S65 put down 800rwt and I believe around 560rwhp. Gaining 100hp at 3500rpm!! He is not a forum kind of guy so maybe Jerry will post all of the runs latter once he gets home.

We did one baseline stock pull on mine, see below. SAE corrected on a Mustang dyno, no ice or BS. See all stock chart below. They then installed their HE and CM30 pump.

We could not get my ECU to flash correctly. It's an 2007 and they have to be bench flashed. So I had to keep the stock tune for now. I'll be sending my ECU to Jerry this week for him to flash it and verify the tune. Then I'll install it and get a pull done.

Long day is right! 8 of us ran from H town at 7am and most did not get home untl after midnight! Free food and drinks were great!

I was suprised but 3 people drove from cities 6-9 hours away to get dyno tunes. Shout out to (Chris) ,the New Orleans E55 that made that trip! It is amazing that all the cars stayed in line the whole hour and half drive and did not even attemt to do any 60-140 showdowns..LOL (not)

I counted 14-55 class cars, 2-600`s, one 65 and a few other C class rides.. Must have been 30 people at the peak time..

Those Eurocharged techs that flew down ,can flat get it! Nazzar was tig welding intercoolers in, installing a couple pulley`s ,,,Jerry and Tony tuning thier **** off!

Top E55 made well over 550 RWHP and over 625TQ on a heat soaked motor. hit 140 IAT at 5500 rpm and pulled 20RWHP on the curve.. That car is a solid 580 RWHP !! Saw huge TQ numbers coming out of these tunes and amazing HP gains!

That s65 is flat out Sick and the owner is game to run anyone, anytime!! Once he has his new intercooler in and lets his motor cool, he will be at 600RWHP!

Boy the proverbial sh_it is going to hit the fan, these #'s are WACK i'm very disapointed this info on MD setting set to read like DJ wasn't noted till your other thread here, def sheds light on these outrageous inflated MD/DD #'s were seeing lately 669 RWTQ on stock SL600 w/20"s wheels is laughable, even on highest reading DynoJet you'll see 110 odd less RWTQ vs these puffy #'s
https://mbworld.org/forums/sl-class-...ml#post3780385

This explains the 845 rwtq S65/SL65 data now, once again very disapointing...

I'm tired of read all the BS about MD/DD/DJ numbers. They are a tuning tool only.

Yes you can make a mustang read like a dyno jet. I have spent alot of time calibrating my MD to read like a dyno jet- since everyone is hooked on seeing the big number not just what their gains are. I had a couple cars on the dyno that had their car dynoed on a dyno jet and when we did the baseline pulls their rwhp and tq numbers were with in 1rwhp/tq.

Also all the dyno trick that dyno jets operators do to inflate their numbers don't work on mine. Just for trial we tried tire pressure, how it is straped down, where on the rollers it sits to see it affects power - mine doesn't change. Also the Weather correction factor is checked on every run and power seen on cold days and hot days stays the same.

I'm not trying to argue w/you, you seem like a gracious host & actually admitted to Blazeone you set your MD to read higher like DJ's, my quams are w/actual tuner not HIGHLIGHTING this.

Also the RWHP readings on blazeones SL600 w/20" whls is off by a good 40-65 RWHP too much, the RWTQ reading is off by 110+ these SL600/CL600 etc read @ most 550-560 RWTQ on 18"-19" whls on HIGHEST SET DJ's your MD showed Blazeones Stk SL600 w/20"s @ 669 RWTQ sorry not in this universe

He posted in his seperate thread you dyno'd another stock CL600 w/near identical #'s 600 V12 TT's make 110 rwtq less average on ANY DJ, this def explains the 842-845 RWTQ seen on the (2) otherwise stock S65's w/ONLY LET ECU...

You realize other equally modded ECU only SL/S65's from RENNtech/Kleemann average 700-720 RWTQ on DynoJets w/100-105 octane are you going to tell me LET has magically found an additional 100-145 RWTQ from ECU only??

This post is for comparison purposes only. Not getting into the dyno vs. dyno debate.

My stock SL600 dynoed, on a Dyno Dynamics, at 432 rwhp/530 rwtq

With a LET shelf tune, it dynoed 484 rwhp/610 rwtq on the same dyno, same day, same operator.

Track day at MIR is this Friday, so we'll see what happens. Unfortunately, I'll be running on brand new all-seasons, so grip will be a major issue for me. But, trap speed should give me a good idea of what's going on.

Sounds like a good time was had by all, and that's really what it's all about. Enjoying these fine machines with other owners. Sorry I don't live closer.

Dude the only thing that is off and wack is you... And you are coming off as someone with serious dyno envy... I have had my car dynoed at 3 different facilities on a DJ/ MD/ DD including Kurt's. The horse power numbers are all within 2 %. SAE correcting is standard at any good facility with an operator who knows what they are doing.. All of the track times on this car agree exactly with the dyno numbers.. So if Kurt's dyno was as "overinflated" as you say the car would not have been able to post the times that it does.

Maybe your tuners aren't that good, but what makes a good tuner great is to be able to start at a standardized base and use that information to record legitimate power gains (or losses) as opposed to variable gains like temperature drop, heat soak, change in DA, calibration, etc. Last time I checked there was not an official standard for dyno calibration so if you know this universal dyno by which all others should follow I am sure Kurt would be happy to recalibrate accordingly (and Jerry would also demand of the dyno operators at all of his tunes) , we would also need the standard rpm at which all cars should be stabbed at since that can cause torque numbers to spike hugely if done at just the right moment.

Awesome, so we are going to level 2.

What happened does your allowance not cover getting a tune. you seem to have changed your tune.

I'll quote you here.

"This is incredible gains to be had on an otherwise stock S65!

Stock S65 PSI is indeed about 20+ & Jerry got yours to work incredibly well using 24-25 PSI I'm not going to even question his methods, just getting inline for my SL600 to undergo this same remote tuning, I'll have a HUGE heat exchanger installed before to supplement my 5.5 Gallon Reservoir/CM30 pump, we'll see how high we can push my Boost w/my mods I'd be elated w/22+PSI

Way to go Jerry/Eurocharged/Let " Signed thericker.

I'm having a hard time believing that with all these v12 cars that were recently dyno tuned by Eurocharged, none have gotten track numbers yet. Dyno numbers don't mean sh*t. I wanna see mph with no exuses like bad DA, etc. Maybe we should arange for some side by side runs in Mexico with some of these dyno monsters. I'll bring the camcorder.

That's right, I can't believe I forgot. Your number of posts on a forum determines determines your knowledge on a given subject.

Because I don't have a couple thousand posts I'll only make two comments:
1. IMO I think FormulaZR's 8mph gain in the 1/4 with only a tune is pretty impressive.
2. It's funny you picked FormulaZR's CL600 to talk about.

Thericker's next post in 10...9...8......

I agree, I don't think Jason has had his back to the track yet. Mine has not even been tuned yet. But I may get a chance to run it stock next Friday.

lol Dirtybird..

Thousands of posts confirm infinite wisdom.. My newbie search confirms what you are saying.. I see that thericker has started tons of informative threads sharing valuable information with the other members and the direct non biased, non trolling , non flamer manner with which he has posted. I personally am running 9's from following his mods with his dynos and timeslips that he has posted ...

No wait I was reading the posts from helpful people like Chiromikey, Jakpro, and Juicee63.. I was reading therickers threads when I was looking to buy a used car...

+1

Here's my take on these things. No matter what you do, whether it's great dyno number or track numbers there will always be naysayers. When I first posted my dyno numbers from a DD I had many people having a hard believing it. Okay, not a big deal because anyone who knows me knows that I track my car. I take my car to the track and run some great times. Now I have people telling me it's because of the track...LOL! I even drove 8 hours to race in 105 degree weather in 4500-4700 DA during the time of my pass. I broke every single E55 record on that track in the worse conditions I ever raced in. My ET's were 11.6 and 123 with the previous trap speed record at 119. I'm tired of trying to prove crap to anyone, I really just don't care anymore. I love doing what I do....racing my car. In the end there will always be people trying to bring others down, whether it jealousy or just ***** stirrers.

Bottom line....screw the naysayers and as long as your happy with your results that's all that should matter. I'm very happy with the performance of my car and I'll continue racing my car at my so called "countries fastest track" LOL!!!!

BTW...the numbers look very impressive! I look forward to hearing some track times .

Does anyone really care about dyno numbers? As far as I'm concerned the only correct measure of a car's horsepower is trap speed. Get these cars to the track and we will all see the true gains!
