Accident is "no fault" the insurance companies will battle eachother although I have substantially more coverage than the person that hit me. Looks like the Dodge is a total loss .
This shop seems mighty confident in the repairs and the expense. I figured 20k min

Wow..... this is AWESOME..... this event will now be gigantic We're going to have a great battle between the quickest/fastest benzes in the country 
bassn_07 ---> the current record holder and all time champ (AMG Flag holder)
BenzBoi -----> the underdog contender (poses a great risk to bassn_07)
rarfinancial --> previous Team AMG captain/leader, holds the CLS63 ET record, and pilots the highest dynoing benz ever.... 612 rwhp (half run)
juicee63 ----> holds the best 60' for a mercedes and the fastest NA CLS63 in the world.
Now if we can only get Sal to join us
, things would really heat up

Mo, it looks like we might have rain again...wtf. I guess we just need to keep our fingers crossed and see what happens. I was thinking of going to the track tomorrow because things look good but I can't swing to track days in a row.

I should have something more concrete by Tuesday/Wednesday of next week. If something happens, the only backup date available is on saturday, february 6th..... if that doesn't happen, the whole event will likely get canceled and all payments will be refunded until our next big one in November

Infineon cancelled their Sunday drags already although it is supposed to be dry. I think they know the track will be crap after all that rain.

We all know you have a very good chance in taking down my car at Famoso and I wish you the best of luck. If you take home the W it will be well deserved and the only thing I could do is . Oh no.... the event is honestly not the same without you. Watching you tune the cars and seeing them go quicker and faster throughout almost every run is insane
Everyone, I'm sorry for all the trouble caused by this constant change of plans that has been going on recently with this event. The weather has been too crazy lately and non of the sites have been forcasting, they all have been guessing blindly I should have a confirmation by tomorrow night or wednesday morning at the latest on whether we will proceed as planned or postpone the event to maybe Sunday or the following Saturday or Sunday.

I talked to track management this morning and they told me that they do NOT want to make a call just yet. The weather is changing rapidly and predictions are not too accurate right now. And since the event was postponed so many times, they want to give us a chance to try and make it this Saturday. Consequently, we will wait and make a call either on Thursday night or very early Friday morning.
If it does not happen this Saturday, then the only available date left is Saturday, February 6th. After that, the track will not be available on the weekends at least until April 16th; but by then, it is usually way too hot to race.
I know many of you are traveling a long distance for this, and I'm really sorry to keep you hanging, but I just don't want to disapoint you guys again with a rush decision in an unsure weather situation like we've been having lately.
I will update this thread (and all other threads) by tomorrow night accordingly

I think anything higher than 10% is just way too high still....
But who knows..... maybe it'll get better in the next couple of days.
