B on my Benz

hey members. Just installed this awesome flat hood emblem for my e55. My first thoughts werent as I expected. it looks better in person.

Check it out and tell me how you guys like it. Thanks to my buddy Justin (dacls63amg) for the help.

my intentions were to make a DIY flat hood emblem but figured its quite common sense to put one on but If you guys need some help and input, give me a request and ill certainly do it since i have the pics of every step we did.

The gold looks okay on black cars, but silver looks better on gray, white, silver cars, imho.

You're not the only one. I think the flat hood emblem take away the classic traditional look of the Mercedes-Benz.

I like the non flat emblem on mine. It's great for parking (especially in the shorty garage spot for the 55), taking pictures out the front (always shows up near the bottom or screen), and for general recognition from the front. Also, remember what kinds of vehicles have traditionally possessed raised hood emblems.

where did you get it??? I bought the same one on ebay years ago for $15. Then Mario had a very similar one for $150. Since then I've been on the quest for the $15 one again!
