Are the clay bars really *that* effective? Holy shizzlenizzle that looks good.

i thought the clay would pick up more but it wasnt that dirty, but once i polished it then waxed it the paint really looks good. i now use all griot's garage supplies i like them a lot.. if anyone lives near chicago i also detail cars on the side... pm if anyone wants one ill try to get a few more pics up.
