I BOUGHT IT...I BOUGHT IT...I BOUGHT IT...
So, after many weeks of deliberation, I bought the '07 silver e63. Pick her up monday.
Thanks to all for listening to my rambling inquries and for all the help and support. Pics to follow soon.

PS - there is a very nice pewter 2006 e55 CPO out there if anyone is looking...

The overwhelming response to my dilema from posters whos sent private messages (along with the threads I started) was to buck up (no pun intended) and go for the e63 based upon my lack of desire to mod the car and its primary use as a daily driver.
That, along with the fact that I really liked the updated look, including the front bumper and most importantly, the wheels, convinced me to pull the trigger on the e63.

The dealer had 2 low mile 2007 e63 cars...the silver one I bought, and a black/black. The black car, when clean and sitting on their showroom floor, was absolutely badass. But, i knew I could never come close to keeping it that clean looking, so silver was the choice. I've never owned a silver car either, but actually looking very forward to it.

Glad to hear you pulled the trigger, and if you have no intentions of modding then the E63 is the right choice.
I went with silver also, although I love the black look. I've had plenty of black cars and they are the hardest to keep clean, the pollen season makes me nuts, you can put a coat of wax on and an hour later it has a dust all over it.
Good luck and enjoy.

I like white and silver for drivers. My Cayenne was black and it was a nightmare to keep clean and free of swirls/scratches.
Congrats on the new ride.
