Hoen Digital light assembly
Hey guys, anyone have any idea how to get a DLEd or digital light assembly license plate led into our cars? I took out all the panelling, disconnected the wiring and for the life of me could not get the c5w bulb housing out of there. No matter how I twisted and turned, it almost seemed like the thing was just big enough to slide in and not come out. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks...

E55 then E63, now back to an E55
If you're referring to what I think you're referring to (plate bulbs),
the outside license plate holder assembly piece needs to come off. This is just below the E55 AMG lettering and holds the actual plate in place. There are small clips at the top portion of it.
I could not figure it out at the beginning either, was actually quite frustrating.

Yep, very furstrating as I was pulling at the darn thing and didn't realize that the plate needed to come off. They sent the lights w/o instructions for install.... Thanks to this board, now I know how to get them in. Thanks.....
