Quick. Opinions needed on Jerry's eurocharged ecu tune for my e63
I want some extra hp and fix the stupid slow shifts when I floor it, but what does it fo to the warranty? Does it make itma harsher daily driver with sudden and forceful shifts? Does it make the engine not last as long long term? Opinions please as Jerry will be in Dallas tomorrow for tuning. Thanks guys

You will like the tune. No the tune will not make the car shift harsher. It will make the car more responsive and fun to drive. It will really open up after 4k rpms. Gas mileage will improve a tad bit but I doubt you will notice that since you will be punching throttle all the time. :)

I had Jerry tune my C63, and I have been very happy with the results. Shifts have been very fast when i push it, but I certainly have not noticed it being any harsher of daily driver. Driving around normally, I don’t feel any difference at all. Driving around in traffic is perfectly comfortable. As far as warranty goes, Jerry can always flash it back to stock. Also from what I understand, the dealer has to prove to failure was caused by the modification. These engines are seriously over built, so I am not worried one bit that a tune alone would over stress the engine, and cause it to wear out prematurely.
Go for it. You won’t be disappointed, and Jerry is a great guy to work with. |
Go for it, you will love it! If you want faster throttle response look into a sprint booster, I put one on and I dont have that lag when I get on the gas.

I've had two tunes from Jerry, Stage 1 and Stage 2 for my E55, very, very happy and would do both again.

Just do eettt...For the current price you can't go wrong on the 63...It's definitely a gain for a steal...

Just do it! If you get the tune and you take a ride with Jerry in the car and you don't feel like it was worth your money, we will refund you there on the spot!

Instead of a regular tune, I would go for a custom dyno tune; you should see a little more gains. Either way, make sure you get a baseline dyno before the tune (and before any other mods for that matter), then get another dyno run right after the tune so you can see how much improvement the tune provided.

My tune only netted an additional 10 horses per the dyno.

Hhmmm mine actually got a little over 20whp on a Mustang....

Jerry has tuned my car a total of 3 times. First was a box tune where I shipped him the ECU (he was still living in Illinos then) and he's tuned it twice since he's been back in Houston and each tune gets the car a little better. I have a 172 EC pulley, EC heat exchanger , EvoSport headers and I'd say it's perfect!
