Where to buy MB oem parts online?

Did a search relax lol, went to a few sites but either they dont have all the parts or they are ridiclously expensive. Parts.com has the best prices, but they dont take Canadian credit cards!? WTF

Any other recommendations where to get oem mb parts from? Somebody that takes CDN CC, or US Verified Paypal!?

loungn14 12-29-2010 05:26 PM

the ironic thing is parts.com ships its mb parts from Mercedes of Naperville. lol

I actually ordered some brake parts, and my guy at naperville called and said he had them ready for me if I wanted to pick them up and save on shipping.

*******s lol

This time n age you would think you American companies would accept Canadian credit cards :P Jeeeeeez

I'm stuck in Vancouver right now and I have realized the funniest damn thing.... NOBODY will run my bank card as debit! Because it has the MC logo, they insist on swiping it as credit.

I have no order any MB parts from them as yet but for my BMW the parts all had BMW PN some even in BMW box when I got them. I ordered O2 and they were BMW PN and the BMW logo for 1/3 the price.. So I am hoping MB parts will be the same...

This is a great thread. I lost all my links when my HD in my laptop took a major dump, and of course I wanted pricing on something MB related.

Proof again the folks in this forum are some of the best around.

No sh*t, I live in Naperville lol....

So I can just place my order on parts.com and give them a call to pick up if they have it in stock? Did you have to pay tax?

Parts.com is wicked, their shipping is a bit rape, but even then their prices are MUCH MUCH better than everyones. genuinemercedesparts.com is expensive compared to part.com. They actually sent stuff to my US address even though I used a CDN cc :D, that was a shocker considering on their website FAQ it says NO they will not ship to non verified addresses...

Their packaging is OVERKILL lol... got 2x headlamp washer covers for the front bumper, misc nuts n bolts, in a masssssssive box, with a crap load of packaging etc... What a waste lol

www.pelicanparts.com. Great site, great prices.

06E55 01-18-2011 08:42 AM

Did a comparison of parts.com vs. genuinemercedesparts.com (GMP). I only found two instances where GMP was cheaper and that was for the main battery and the cabin air filter (both utilizing part numbers for 06 models). The price wasn't that much of a difference though. I didn't factor in shipping, but for some parts, parts.com was actually $30.00 difference (e.g., crankshaft position sensor). Buying spark plugs and wires from parts.com would save a ton of dough compared to GMP. Now, I didn't factor in shipping though, but I can't imagine it would negate the differences in pricing! I just found a new place to get my goods!

I too was looking for the best place to get OEM parts...I searched and found this thread, thanks!

I also researched a bit prior and came across: http://www.koperformance.com/

They seem to have OEM stuff, and a comparison of parts I just had my indy buy is cheaper than GMP & Parts.com. Most parts are cheaper on everything I have on my list (plugs, filters, tranny fluid/filters, etc.)

Anybody use them, and have any good/bad info before I bookmark the site for the future?

Yep, in the long run, my E63 conversion and trans rebuild were much less through them. Good service also. Highly recommend.:y

+1 this site is probably the best when you factor in shipping costs. They are actually MB of South Atlanta :)
