Unicorn farting glitter (and other pics)
Someone once told me that AMG wagons are as rare as a unicorn farting glitter :D (and yes, it was me yesterday, Clayton. Your car sounds like a monster :y )
We had a break in the weather in MD, so I had a chance to get the DDs washed and waxed, as well as fixing up a dent in my Suburban from some dumbass (ME!) backing into it with an ATV. :rolf: http://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_mX...0/P1020003.JPG I really liked the white/black combo of my E55 sedan, but this color combo has grown on me, too. I like the contrast of the various colors of the interior. http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_mX...0/P1020004.JPG This is the wife's ride. Really nice car, glad we grabbed it instead of another SL. http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_mX...0/P1020020.JPG http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_mX...0/P1020009.JPG Moose loves the 'vert. http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_mX...0/P1020015.JPG And one of my classic rides. http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_mX...0/DSC00333.JPG http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_mX...0/DSC00341.JPG |

Let me get this right you drive a station wagon and your wife drives a convertible coupe?
|
Wayne, I saw that badass wagon from a ways away. I finally was able to jockey up to you, only to have you turn!
I wanted to see that thing stretch it's legs. :D BTW, saw the 6'er this morning, passing me on 80. I see that car probably 3 times a week. But the unicorn.....I think I've seen twice. Ever. Love it. |

When you can, send a few more of the Suburban. I've always wanted a 3 door like that. I absolutely LOOOOVVVEEEE the 67-72s.
My next toy is going to be a 67 1/2 ton with full trim. |

Sick Silverado. What is that air suspension? I had a '04 Avalanche 2500 with 9" and 37's that I use to tow a 35' Fountain but, both were sucking the life out of me and my wallet for premium gas. What size/make boat is that?
You're absolutely right, the boat will eat you out of house and home. BTW, I am going to be selling the Silverado. We're going to be moving and it looks like I will have to carry two houses until this one in Huntsville sells. So, I gotta slim up a bit on the monthly nut. |

Thank you, The Silverado is awesome. It GETS 14 MPG!!! It's got the 6.2L with the 6 speed tranny and 4:56 gears. The combination is incredible. As far as the suspension, my good buddy Kevin Russell in Houston owns a shop called BNC Offroad www.bncoffroad.com and they make the most incredible hand fabbed lifts. My lift is SUPER SIMPLE TOO-- it's a simple a well designed cradle the drops the entire front suspension 16" and maintains all original geometry and and steering rack. It truly drives as good as the day I took delivery. As far as the boat. It's a 34' Sleek Powerboats Heritage SSB with twin 502 Meg EFI's and a few internal mods. I wanted a 32 Fountain Fever, but my wife didnt like the tiny cuddy. Turns out you never go in there anyways.

My wife has an H2 with a 6.0 and all wheel drive. At the same time we had a Suburban 2500 with the 6.0 and the suburban would get 16ish on the freeway and the H2 would get 12. My buddy has an 08 Denali and he's getting 15's with the same 6.2 you have. In fact I think his got like 18 on a recent family trip. He loves it, said the more mileage he racks up the better the gas mileage gets. |
Very nice!

Wow, great memories. We had a 72 K5 Blazer same exact color growing up. Man we beat that thing!
Parents, "Chevys are just the worst quality! The engine is leaking oil again!!!!" us......heh heh heh. :v: http://lh6.googleusercontent.com/_mX...0/DSC00341.JPG |

He was right at 90lbs at the vet last week. He's fairly compact, but I do my best to keep him lean/active. http://lh5.googleusercontent.com/_mX...0/P1000408.JPG |
Epic wagon! Beautiful Dog. Well done sir :y
|
He has a HUGE head for 90lbs. I bet he has some mastiff in him down the road:)
He is beautiful man!!! |
Love the wagon, the dog, but one question/comment...
Where is the unicorn farting glitter? I had expectation of looking at the thread title, that I would at least see a unicorn, let alone one farting glitter. :zoom: |
Nice
