suspension question on a 09 E63

well first and for most im new to the forum and just bought an E63 about a week ago

my problem or issue is that i notice that my rear left tire seems to be closer to the fender than on the other side, after i measure from the ground to the edge of the fender i was correct

front right 26 3/16
front left 26 1/4
rear left 25 1/2
rear right 26 1/16

now both front tire are about the same height, just about a 1/16 difference but in the rear there is almost a 1/2 an inch difference in height.

has anyone experience this problem it just doesnt look normal to me. does it need reprogramming, what is the issue?

thanks

Gus

Star lowering should take care of that and get it as close to level as possible. Also, ground must be dead flat to take measurements.

whats "star" is that the computer from the dealer???

and the ground was flat, its the oil lift in my shop, so if it were 1/8 off i would not be worry but 1/2 inch is to drastic

Slow
Try and cycle thru the suspension a few times, raise and lower it. Mine used to do that after I would lift it to mess with the tires. Then it would settle down and be level after a couple of cycles.

Glad to hear OP. but to answer your question , yes, star is the diagnostic software package the dealers use. My car used to sit lop-sided despite raising and lowering with the button a few times till i levelled her out with star. Now she's near perfect all around. One last thing to keep in mind, whenever i step out of my car and it comes up, a few seconds later, the car levels out again and I used to catch it before it did this and would freak out as to why it wasn't level again
