Windshield Washer Fluid Leak
Everything was fine until a few days after a Service A was performed. I noticed a puddle in my garage that was a soapy substance. This week the top off WW fluid warning came on. Any feedback on the root cause?

I havent had this issue with my current car, but from my past experiance its either a cracked washer fluid tank or the leak occurs from either the window washer or headlight washer pump...

I had this issue on my car, and the root cause was that the nozzles for the headlamp washers were missing, and thus leaking through there.

Did this ever get resolved? I have pictures of where it's leaking, and I swear it's just an overflow. My check washer fluid came on, I poured about half a container in and this started.
You can see the little drop starting on the black piece in front of the reservoir, towards the body panel. https://mbworld.org/forums/members/s...21154-leak.jpg |
God I love forums!!!
Did some more searching and found this thread - https://mbworld.org/forums/s-class-w...vior-leak.html. It made me double check the source of the leak, and sure enough it was slightly above what I circled and the vacu tite hose worked like a champ. |
Sorry for the super delayed response. The dealer ended up replacing the entire reservoir assembly under factory warranty. No more leaks.

On my w211 e350, the washer fluid tank has a design flaw from mercedes. The plastic bottle is actually touching the heater, the heat will cause the plastic to melt and might also damage the pump. I just had my tank replaced, but the pump was also damaged and leaking.
