So I'm super bummed right now, I just got my ultinon's in the mail, I just assumed that the e55 was equipped with HIDs...total fail. I was shocked to see that a car nearing $90k isnt equipped. KILLS me to drive a badass car like this around and horrible headlights. I need to upgrade; yet dont want to spend alot on a retrofit kit. I was looking at autolumination at some of there "HID" comparable bulbs...anyone have experience with these? Whats the difference between the low 55 watt and the 100 high watt? Id like to stick around the 6k range, anyone tried the 8500k's? Looked at these as well

I honestly wish I didn't have factory HIDs, because you have many more aftermarket options if you don't. Good luck.

Just buy stock hid headlamps off eBay :y

Please don't put that blue crap in your headlights.

try and snatch up some used bi-xenon kits and just replace the bulbs and if necessary, the ballasts.
