Michelin tires are no doubt legit but if you are looking for all out grip from a dig, run a drag.

Understood..... But I think at this point my perspective is so screwed up about what kind of traction I can get with a competent street tire, that the PSS will probably address my current complaints.

My current tires are so bad, I can barely make a turn at a stop sign without the tires spinning under less than 1/2 throttle. It was funny at first, but now it's getting annoying.... The car would be a lot more street able and fun if it would actually translate it's impressive power into forward motion instead of just tire noise.

Bruce at TTM is going to install a Quaife for me in the near future. That should help a lot with my current traction issues too.

PSS will be my next purchase. How about ride Q...comparable to other extreme performance options (RE-11, AD08's, etc)?

I use falken azenis 615k's and they're pretty good, life is not the longest and the hydroplane a little in the wet but they work great in the dry.

Man....give me a chance will ya?

Clarification to my earlier post, my car has Continental Sport 3s out back, and Sport 2s up front. Not sure if the Sport 3s are "less lousy" than the Sport 2s but I guess at this point, who cares? They're within 1/16" of the wear bars now....so I think that makes them "YouTube Burnout Video" candidates in my book.

Andrew is trying to hook me up with a set of 18" factory takeoffs now, so if that all works out I will probably wrap them with these new Michelins....

With a second complete set of wheels, I can get some dedicated snow tires for the winter and swapping with the seasons will be a breeze.

I just got the PSS two days ago. Grip is MUCH better than stock Conti's (what isn't), I like the ride quality and feel very much. Pouring down rain today and the wet traction exceeded my expectations.
