Hey did you ever find out about the rotors?

i see that real thin black across the bottom of the rear bumper, i wanna TAKE IT OFF! leggo.:zoom:
|
That thin line at the bottom of the bumper which is color matched to your car is the only difference between the e55 and e63 bumpers. Because of that stupid line, the diffuser doesn't fit. You cut that off the diffuser will fit 100%, but of course you cannot reverse the procedure :P
|
damnn dilemma, i wanna cut it off so i can put that diffuser on,
(its not like you will be able to tell that i cut it off, hopefully) but idk.. what do yall think i should do? go ahead without the diffuser? or cut it off and put it on? |
Man, if you can get me you and 8 other people to try and do a group buy on an E63 rear diffuser, preferably carbon fiber? I'm in.
|
lets do it! lol
|
I might be interested as well...
|
I'm in if you guys need another to the list.

So far we have Dannish23, Tranman, knguyen82 and myself. Not a bad start.

Just an FYI, the E63 and E55 bumper are not the same. The E63 does not only have the addition to the bottom, the shape is different, and the sides are longer on the E63. The E55 diffuser area is ONLY above the exhaust, while the E63 wraps around just a bit more around the exhaust. Ask me how I know? we have both E55 and E63 bumpers, and we made diffusers for both, and yes, we tried fitting them on, and NO they do not fit correctly. If you wanna do some serious modification, then sure you may get it right eventually. But I thought you should know that before you bust out the sawzall!:)

Well, since we already made the limited edition one, we have no interest on making a different one. However, in November, we may start to sell them again, but it is not 100% confirmed yet.
Not like I don't enjoy your 55 version though :p: |
