I was at Renntech last week, doing ECU and pulleys, I actually got to hear a e55 wagon with renn's LT's and muffler, was wild.

They are 8000$ plus install.

They are not in the catalog, why I did not ask. But you can go ahead and call them if you do not believe me.

As you can see in my beggining post, I did write renn's Lt's are 8000$ if you look at the catalog you can see the shorty's are 4000$ so by deduction you could of figured it out.

I would go with Supersprint long tube headers, since most of the companies you have named copied the design from them...

Interesting - if that's the truth then I stand corrected!

I wasn't aware that they did 1-offs either.

If I were new to the E55 game, I'd probably pull the trigger on the EC long tube deal they have going right now. I currently have Floored Fab headers and I'm quite happy with them. All we have to go by in regards to outright performance are other members' dyno sheets and track results, but those in themselves carry along their own variables. It wouldn't be worth it to me to swap out long tubes to figure out which ones I like the best. I would think all the long tubes out there most likely are putting out roughly the same horsepower within a 10hp range. Would I pay $8K for RT long tubes? Hell no, especially with the deals that are out there with EC and MBH that are going to get you the same, if not more, horsepower.

sorry but the latter part of this comment is absolutely false. the facts are that besides being shiny and incredibly over priced, supersprint has nothing to offer over any available lt header.

with that said, i'm not surprised nobody is taking this poll seriously...how could you when there's no mention of floored fabrication?!! they not only put the first reasonably priced lt's on the market but their headers have been on most of the quickest/fastest e55's for years!

I think in today's LT mod game it's a 3 horse race! Alphabetical order....
EC
FF
MBH

How can they even charge 1700$ for headers, If I read MBH's post correctly he says just in materials is 1000$ plus labor...

You won't find MBH headers for $1700 unless they are used. $3k for a set of MBH. EC is doing a group buy for $1675 shipped.

what hammerdown said, I believe MBH is doing a core exchange program for their headers which gives you a bit of savings as well.

Haha. Should look at the designs of the companies you mentioned, look at when they released "their" LTs... and look when Supersprint came out with theirs. You're a fan boy, so I wouldn't expect any other comment from you besides what you said...

Are you suggesting, the supersprints are the pionnerS? and somewhat better than average?

yeah, umm...i have looked at the designs and that's exactly what i was talking about when i said supersprint has nothing to offer over others. if you can get yourself over something shiny, take a look at the inside of the headers and enjoy all the slag left in the supersprints. if that's not enough take a look at tube length or firing order and then you can tell me who's design and quality is better! and i'm not sure why when supersprint released their headers is important but as i previously said, ff offered the first "reasonably priced" long tube header.

i'm definitely a fan boy...but at least i know wtf i'm talking about!

this thread is gonna be nothing but opinions, factual evidence will be hard pressed to find. My $$$ is going to Eurocharged for quality and customer service, their group buy deal is pretty sweet. nothing against other's decisions.
