At first we thought this guy was just messing around. But nope he wasnt. Main difference between Mercedes drivers and BMW drivers haha.

I agree 100%. Parking like that will get some a-hole to come over and mess with it. I would avoid doing that. There are plenty of idiots out there who will mess with your ride. I don't want to give anyone an excuse.

Just grab one of those end spots and park normally....
The ones near the planters are good because you can really hug the curbing with the passenger side of the car, and gain an extra few precious inches of buffer space on the drivers side. Some guys will insist on parking to protect the "money side" (Driver) but then you'd end up wading through all those plants to get in and out of the car.....not sexy.

I had some guy a month or two ago go out of his way to park his ****ty old Corsica (I think) that was falling apart and sprayed in primer next to the E, before leaving a small ding in my clear. I proceeded to leave a men's size 12 ding in his door before leaving.

Had I noticed the ding before I got home...I would have flipped. But instead...I get home...start unloading...look at drivers side... explitives fly. Through the clear...to the metal. Two nice "corner of a door" chips.

My friend who drives a Lancia Delta Integrale parks like that... only over here EVERY lot is full!! He gets all sorts of looks and the dude doesn't care.

I guess the difference, IN GENERAL, is that BMW drivers always like to win at everything and Mercedes drivers might not be right about everything, but are never wrong.......Porsche guys just like to listen to their exhausts and the mechanicals of their cars......MINI Cooper people are just always happy.......Buick people are always going really, really slow OR really really fast..........Ford 150 people love to ride your ***.......

exaclty! as a kid we used to mess with everyones car that used to park like that just cuz it stuck out screaming "dont touch me!" and as a punk *** kid that challenge begs "mess it up!" 
now everyday i park i pray to the gods of karma that i have already filled my "bad karma" quota
i was hit by a car on my motorcycle back in 2006 so i think that made me even with karma :P
