See attached, not a typo/photoshop. :) We're the second hottest place in the US right now, next to Death Valley.

With my upgraded Eurocharged HE all is well though! I drive 100 miles a day in traffic too and from work and you can't even tell. :D

It's humid in Dallas due to the tear drops of 63 owners wishing they had more torque. :rolf:

Shizzz, this is when we go smoke all the crybaby 55's with their heat soak :D Mine's in the garage anyways, no covered parking at the office :mercy: That's what makes me cry LOL

SLC is only like 4500 unless you live on a bench...It gets pretty warm down there sometimes doesn't it..? I really wanted to hit Snowbird for the 4th of July last day...

Yes like an oven! :D

IAT's actually are pretty good so far, the bar never goes above the 100C mark on my guage on the dash and this is in bumper to bumper traffic. Credit goes to the much larger Eurocharged Heat Exchanger and I also put in some Royal Purple "Cool Ice" (or whatever it's called) in the radiator fluid to help keep it cool. (Hey every little bit helps right?)

I'm also running the A/C inside the car with recycle on and the motor is still running cool and I seem to have plenty of power.

Credit it MB and Eurocharged!

Here's another pic, sorry it's a bit blurry showing the IAT. Did this while driving, hence the off image. Notice red circle on right side, appears to be at 100c while the outside temp is 118F, all while driving in traffic.

This is good! :D

yeah its a warm one today. This may sound stupid, but my pool is to warm to go in. I went in it yesterday and was like "this is not refreshing"

I'll take the dry heat over the humidity any day. Im dreading the first summer Monsoon storm. Thing get gross out here real fast. For someone who has never felt the summer AZ heat. Its kind of like checking on the turkey on Thanksgiving. That blast of heat you get in your face when you open up the oven. Thats just what the breeze feels like today

Strigoi Jun 29, 2011 12:33 AM

It hit 117° here once a few years ago and I'm glad it hasn't done that since. It was cold and raining here today.

I Like Soup Jun 29, 2011 01:20 AM

Ahhhhh unless one of those crybabys has a killer chiller icing down the 5 gal tank for nice full throttle killing blasts.

:v::v::v::D:v::v::v:

OH and record year at the Bird. Check this.....783 inches!! Yes people that is correct. You guys ever go up, we'll try to get together and you can feel my dog machine in person (always funny to get peoples reactions) It sucks, but such is life in Mormon Land.

viper04 Jun 29, 2011 04:46 AM

WOW!! how do you guys deal with that kind of Temps? I think I would die. A nice 71f here in Wisconsin.

James@ACG Jun 29, 2011 08:16 AM

Not gonna lie, so glad i left Tucson on sunday to come back to San Diego... i can't believe i lived there for 4 years... What was i thinking... lol

Glad to see all you AZ guys doing well...

novae500 Jun 29, 2011 08:22 AM

dry heat sure beats heat/humidity, which is what i'm experiencing in Wash DC. I'd take the dry heat instead.

alextaylor29 Jun 29, 2011 11:49 AM

Honestly guys it's not that bad. I came from Northern California which has some of the best weather in all of the US and have been here for 7 years now. Unless you work outside (contruction/etc..) everything in AZ is air conditioned and all houses/buildings are extra insulated.

And with very low humidity (10% or so) you can stand outside in 100+ temps for 10-15 minutes before really even breaking a sweat.

Plus we have 9 goegous months with 65-85 temps and only 3 "Bad months" with the heat. Most other places in the US this ratio is reversed with 9 "Bad/Winter" months and 3 good months.

So it's not so nice now, but talk to us in January when most of you are snowed in. :D

Love it here...zero regrets in moving from Sillicon Valley!

Alex,

Honestly i said the same thing when i moved to Tucson 10 years ago, but having lived away for the last 6 years, and going back... its tough lol... but I will agree the summers are rough if your not used to it, but the rest of the year is amazing! Also if you've never witnessed monsoon season, your in for a treat.

Vic55 Jun 29, 2011 11:59 AM

A nice cloudy 70 in the OC.

No sweaty pits here. :)
