Without tune, would a 2006 E55 be 469 or 500 hp? And with euro charged tune?

E55's tend to be underrated. They typically dyno in the 415-420whp range on a dynojet. That being said, were looking at ~500 crank stock. A tune probably nets 25 whp, so say 40 crack = 540 crank with tune.

Thats just my opinion, on both research and experience.

I dyno'd 410hp & 444 tq at the wheels stock, but I'm not sure how much exactly i lose from crank to wheels.

Mercedes quotes 469. Where did 493 come from?

That is the Mercedes quoted HP for S & SL class cars, the E got the same engine. The marketing department thought it wise to under rate the E.

I believe this has been discussed repeatedly. There is some information that the S and SL class has freer flowing exhaust. Regardless, factory position is 469. Clearly many cars are doing better.

For what it's worth, I made 417whp and 453wtq on a Dyno Jet, bone stock.
