This. Dakar Yellow (BMW) or Imola Yellow (Audi) would have shown better on this canvas. That said, I find the wheels to be less appealing than the paint.

Yellow really doesnt work on big cars.
This color might be better suited for a C63.
Sunburst yellow was common on the SLK230

This car has been posted before, a previous owner bought it with intent of keeping it for the rareness of the color combo but has it sold?

If I remember correctly it was bought from a enthusiast(Friend of the previous owner I think, 2 owners I know of) with low miles and I believe the individual had mentioned selling a year ago. That's all I know regarding this car but it was custom ordered for US delivery and I believe it is a 1 of 1 in that color combo.

I saw this car in St. Petersburg Florida yesterday. Matching the VIN. It is owned by a nice older couple, now has over 80,000 miles, and remains in very good condition. Still quite the unique color!
