Replacement for PS2's
I need to replace my rear tires . Front will remain PS2's for another year or so. What would you recommend as a replacement tire?
Michelin Super Sports (excellent tire) or Hankook v12s (good tire and a lot cheaper)....
+1 on the Michelin super sports. Tread pattern matches great with the ps2's
+ 1 on Michelin Super Sport!
Michelin Pilot Super Sport, they are stickier and have better sidewalls for cornering.
Nitto NT05 :D
michelin super sport all day !
Michelin PSS are #1
I chose the Hankook V12's because I could get all 4 for under $800 :y so far they've been pretty good! |
Wow, what does Michelin pay you guys? The Pilot Sport 2's I had on my E where the worst tires i've ever owned.

I was really disappointed with my PS2's they didn't last long at all, and they didn't have half the grip as some other tires i've tried. And the PS2's where VERY EXPENSIVE! I hated them. I would say I would try a set of Super Sports. But I've been a long time Nitto fan. Now that they finally brought out sizes for our cars, 275/35/18 and 245/40/18, they are both on my AMG and my STi. And the fact I live in Arizona and will never take my AMG out in the rain, the NT05's will always stay on my vehicles. |
Super Sports are definitely the tire for this car. :y
Go for the super sports. Trust me hands down the best!!!
Especially in the rain! |
Do any of you drive your car in the winter with the super sports?
