Just got into an accident. With a large animal. Cat, dog, raccoon, I don't know. Hit it then lost control into a ditch. Front bumper is shot, grilles wrecked, skid plate broken, and a little damage to the radiator. I don't think the radiator is bad, just dented. So how much is a bumper, all the grilles, and a skid plate?

I hit a raccoon in July and the total just for the bumper with park sensors center lower grill, foglight, foglight grill, and work was around $2700. Plus I had a CF lip and other stuff they paid out $3750. So easily in that range for sure. I have road hazard and comp with a $0 deductible so nothing out of pocket other than time. Go State Farm!!!
I took the money and will be doing the E63 conv. and still came out a head.

You lost control of your car after hitting a dog or racoon ???? Sure.
Anyway, you are likely just $2500 - 3500 assuming no frame damage.

Of course....
this doesn't include what you'll lose in diminished value over an accident on the Carfax.

Thought the E63 conversion was like 2 G's plus. Guess I'll be getting that sooner then I thought as my front bumpers cracked.

It sounds like you got lucky with the front end considering you landed in a ditch.
The wife recently lost track of the alphabet and backed her Vette slam into the front end of my E63 !!!
Bumper had to be replaced, replace radiator, new hood, end result was $9,600.
If you can get everything back to perfect for around $3k, count your blessings. Good Luck on the fix.

Sorry for the late reply. To answer the questions some of you posted, I would rather not report to insurance because its already expensive enough. No police report either. Also, where I lost control was a right hand curve on a gravel paved road. Back end swung out off the toad onto grass, and into a ditch backwards. And i've already given this some thought. The radiator mount as well as the radiator are slightly damaged. So, i'm thinking E63 conversion, as well as an aftermarket heat exchanger. I plan on doing all the work myself too. Except for painting the new bumper. anything to avoid dealership. I'll also call my insurance agent and see what they can do before I start spending. Also, I doubt frame damage occurred but how do I make sure?

Alright. Made some calls, and it looks as though my insurance is covering the rear end damage from an accident, and this. $500 deductible, on a little over $7500 worth of damage. Also get a free loaner for up to a month. All OEM parts and I got to choose the body shop. Its being done at auto craft body center, and they specialize on Mercedes and AMGs.

Will my insurance pay me cash to do repairs or will they pay the auto shop directly? All process were for stock OEM parts. Also, the rear end accident accounted for $4300 out of the $7500. So i'm glad my lack of stunt man driving skills didn't cost me too much.
