You can keep it... the day I buy a BMW that follows the Pontiac Grand Am for styling is the day I am no longer a car lover. BMW and Bangle have utterly lost the plot. I don't give a ***** HOW it well it drives, part of the joy of owning a car is loving the way it looks. This thing has a face only a mother could love.

Got it right? With all due respect, the car looks like *****. I hate the way the trunk and rear panel meet. Chris Bangle must be on Mercedes payroll and is sabotaging BMW.

!!! It looks more like a Chrysler Sebring. I have owned several BMW's in the past including an M3 and never have I seen something so horid! I hope it looks better in person because this pic. doesn't do it any justice, if there is any...

Looks like an $80k Grand Am to me
What the hell are they smoking over there in Germany. Banglejuana??? Maybe all Germans are now sissy girls and all "light in the loafers" and Bangle is the one who can suck start a Harley.
This thing looks like every other low CD optimized car out there. Is BMW rebadging pontiacs and then just farking up their rear ends or what.
What happened to style..........makes me just want to puke. Do the idiots listening to Bangle not understand why we buy their cars. Not because it has a shape that slips through the air with the greatest efficiency.......but because the car illicits something visceral in us. That means kick *** power, excellent feel and just as importantly..........and aggressive but elegant look that screams BMW and I'm hear to kick your ***.
That pimply weak *** excuse for styling simply does not cut the mustard!!!

I Like it...
I'm not a Bangle fan at all since he ruined my beautiful 5 series. But, that said I'd have to agree that I like it. I don't see Pontiac silhouette...I see Aston Martin Vantage in the lines.
I think what I like about the 6 series is that it retains the low long profile BMW's used to be famous for before Bangle started raising all the beltlines to look like Saturns.
In three years or so an M6 may be on my shopping list. (providing they deliver what they promise)
