Hi all, is it me or do the brakes seem too soft for this car really dont feel confident high speed braking will they bed in or something?

I feel just the opposite, I love the brakes and feel very comforatable at all speeds.

I guess it is you, brakes are excellent specially at high speeds on the E55 IMO

The brakes are excellent IMHO. I've owned 3 Porsches (which are renowned for excellent brakes), and these are right up there with them.

Hmm... i dont know about braking performance from ultra high speeds but testing a BMW 745i then driving dads e55 right after it , the pedal of the e55 felt alot more softer and easier to apply then the bmw, but still stoped very well, the BMW brakes were too touchy and hard more like honda's

with 8 piston callipers i dont think they can be THAT bad
